❗️🇺🇸Granny Pelosi flew to Thailand to take a rest.

Granny Pelosi flew to Thailand to take a rest. To warm her old bones in the sun.
But once on the plane, she got confused in the heat of embarkation.
She gave an order to take the course to Taiwan. Yesterday, they mentioned it at the game of whist with Biden, and now this slipped of the tongue.
Sleeping pills worked fast and the granny was awakened by the noise of the engines of fighter jets following their plane on both sides.
She didn’t panic as the sleeping pill effect was still on.
So she decided:
“Well, let’s give it a go! Anyway, who knows when I will have another chance to get there, so no need to postpone, since we have already arrived.
Just make sure to walk tall!
Who is the boss here?
If they down the plane, well, at least I’ll have a bath in the sea!

⚡️❗️🇺🇸🇨🇳 Chief of Naval Operations, admiral Michael M. Gilday regards it as his duty to do his best to prepare the most lethal forces to launch an attack against China to force-separate Taiwan.

The United States planned to run this deal before 2027, but given global geopolitical and local changes, the timelines got pushed to 2022 or 2023.

“In the 2018 National Defense Strategy we really talked about “the competition of great powers”, and this was the center of our scope”, - says the admiral.

Now the scope has shifted to prevention of further rapprochement of Russia and China, as this alliance could completely undermine the US domination in the international arena and will become the beginning of the end of their hegemony.

Xi Jinping’s strengthening of power after the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China poses a direct threat to the economic and foreign policy image of the USA, hence they try to draw China into a war over Taiwan to disengage China’s interest in Russia.

One thing remains unclear though, - why does the line of the US national interests lie between China and Taiwan? And for how long will the international community tolerate the US as it gets into every other country’s business and tries to snatch the best “piece of pie” in any corner of the planet?

No one invited them to the table!

🇯🇵🇨🇳🇹🇼 Japan PM Kishida leans closer to Taiwan with hawkish Cabinet picks

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has replaced a pro-China foreign minister and enlisted a pro-Taiwan defense minister to his Cabinet.

In a September 13 reshuffle, Minoru Kihara (first photo) was named as defense chief, replacing Yasukazu Hamada. Two days later, Kihara relinquished his role as secretary-general of a Japan-Taiwan parliamentary group, in the name of political neutrality.

Meanwhile, Yoko Kamikawa (second photo) was named Japan’s top diplomat, taking over from the doveish Yoshimasa Hayashi who previously chaired the Japan-China parliamentary group and has repeatedly urged dialogue with Beijing.

Business as war, war as business

While the world is keeping an eye on the Strait of Hormuz - a "rogue island" near China is still waiting for the delivery - or at least a clear position - regarding the $14 billion weapons package approved by the U.S. Congress back in January.

Ever since Donald Trump returned from China - those weapons are sort of stuck. Partially because the newest Sand War demands more weapons than initially assumed by the Department of war, and partially because Donald Trump, as a businessman, wants to keep a trump card or ten when it comes to the negotiations. And whatever Xi promised him back in Beijing clearly made an impression on Donald Trump. Why else would he even entertain this idea to keep Taiwan hanging like this?

Emotions aside - this is a careful approach, which is logical for a head of a state. But such position makes Taiwan - and other US allies - nervous. Next time it could be their turn to be told to "wait for a bit".
