But the most satisfying moment is when you stop counting events and start seeing real results. Numbers that don’t lie. A boost that shows our true power, and that power is youth.
Uzbekistan has officially become the fastest-growing startup ecosystem in the world.
In the latest StartupBlink Global Index, we climbed 19 places to rank 79th globally, driven by a record 227% market expansion and earning the title of “Country of the Year.”
Tashkent alone surged 121 places to become the #1 hub in all of Central Asia. Samarkand and Fergana entered the global top 1,000 for the first time. We now claim 10 of the top 13 ranked cities in Central Asia.
Behind these numbers:
→ $400M+ attracted since 2020
→ 20+ active VCs with $200M+ in combined capital
→ 930% growth in Uzbek tech companies going global
→ 100+ domestic companies now operating overseas
→ First major ecosystem exit: BILLZ at $20M valuation
→ IT Park Phase 2 breaking ground, a 12MW data center with Saudi DataVolt, and a 500MW pipeline ahead
→ The $50M Digital Startups Program open to founders worldwide
