Today, the country is home to 750+ startups, with more than 147 already attracting local and international investments. Uzbekistan has entered the Top 100 global startup ecosystems and is now the fastest-growing hub in Central Asia.

Thanks to the strong support of our President, the national startup ecosystem has received a powerful boost,  accelerating growth, investment, and innovation across the country. One of the key initiatives is the President Tech Award, which engaged over 13,000 participants and 1,800 projects, resulting in the creation of 200+ jobs and $2.4M in investments.

With 15 venture funds managing $180M and an ecosystem valued at $3.9B, the momentum is clear.

Our goal: reach $1B in venture investments by 2030.

In the latest StartupBlink Global Index, we climbed 19 places to rank 79th globally, driven by a record 227% market expansion and earning the title of “Country of the Year.”

Tashkent alone surged 121 places to become the #1 hub in all of Central Asia. Samarkand and Fergana entered the global top 1,000 for the first time. We now claim 10 of the top 13 ranked cities in Central Asia.
