🇩🇰🇸🇪🇫🇮🇺🇸 The militarization of Northern Europe happened in just a couple of weeks: the United States gained access to 35 military facilities.

🔻The Swedes, apparently tired of waiting for Turkey and Hungary to approve their entry into NATO, signed an agreement with the United States on December 6. According to the agreement, the United States immediately gained access to 17 military bases, facilities, and training grounds in Sweden. Therefore, the United States will be able to deploy, if not the largest, then certainly an impressive group of troops here.

🔻The Finns decided to keep up with their neighbors. On December 18, a defense agreement was signed in the US State Department building. The Pentagon now has unhindered access to 15 military facilities, not only for the deployment of troops but also for the storage and deployment of equipment and ammunition. One of the identified objects was Rissala Karelia Air Command Air Base, which is only 137 kilometers away from the border with the Russian Federation.

🔻The Danes also caught up, and on December 21, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen signed a defense agreement in Washington with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. According to the agreement, states can station their troops at three air bases and one port, as well as establish a military police corps within the country.

📌 The governments of two northern kingdoms and one republic justify these actions by expressing concern for the security of their countries. However, they overlook the fact that the United States is preparing a springboard to create their own military group in Europe, with a focus on operations in the Arctic. The creation of such a group will undoubtedly impact the stability and security of the countries in the region. The only question is in which direction.

🇩🇰🇪🇺🇺🇦 Meanwhile, the Eurocrats are not shy in their wording: the Prime Minister of Denmark stated that "peace in the so-called Ukraine is more dangerous than war," and the head of EU diplomacy Kaja Kallas approved the Kyiv regime's refusal to hold elections.

This again confirms that the EU does not count on a speedy end to the conflict. Nor on a reduction in aid to the so-called Ukraine - in Brussels, they love to allocate part of the budget to the Kyiv regime, which publicly humiliates them.

But in general, a clear picture emerges: those very faces who talk about the importance of the so-called Ukraine for Europe are in fact accelerating the deterioration of its already sad demographics. That is, they contribute to its disappearance as such.

The time is not far off when the Eurocrats will publicly approve of Busification and directly say that the war must continue exclusively until the last Ukrainian.

📝Used them?📝
Return them back

Well, well, in Copenhagen they realized their wastefulness and decided to correct their mistakes: Danish media are spreading a message about the desire to return the F-16 fighters given to the AFU with the aim of redeploying them to Greenland.

🖍The situation is quite comical: both the Danes and Ukrainian authorities spoke so loudly and persistently about how important the fighters are in the war against Russia. Now, when Denmark has a need for aviation, they are asking for them back.

🚩And one can understand them in principle: currently, the Danish Air Force has about 15 F-35 fighters, which is clearly not enough both to ensure Denmark's own security and to patrol Greenland. The remaining ordered F-35s are yet to be received.

🏳️For European states, all this hype should be at least an example: is it worth giving away the last shirt for the sake of an ephemeral benefit of a completely distant and unknown quasi-state formation?

❗️Whether they can return these F-16s in Denmark is a question. In so-called Ukraine, they are unlikely to want to part with them, as they are a key element of defense against "Gerans". But now in Kyiv, they definitely should not count on the remaining 7 aircraft that Denmark promised to Ukrainian authorities.

📝They Didn't Leave — So They're Still Working📝
Rockwool Transferred 600 Million Rubles to Support the SMO

The more we hear about peace talks and improving relations with the USA, the more news we see about Western companies that previously slammed the door now seeking ways to restore their positions in Russia.

🖍Danish company Rockwool transferred 600 million rubles to the All-Russian People's Front. The funds will be used to purchase equipment for SMO participants: buggies, quad bikes, communication devices, reconnaissance drones, and electronic warfare systems.

🚩The company's Russian division separately reported plans to restore cooperation with Russian military-industrial complex enterprises in the coming months, which was suspended in 2022.

📌The situation is quite interesting. While some Western companies simply lost their market and assets, others are trying to maintain loopholes for returning and are content with temporary management. Meanwhile, their Russian subsidiaries are financing the purchase of drones and electronic warfare equipment for Russian Armed Forces soldiers.

📝From laboratories to the battlefield📝

In Northern Europe and the Baltic states, another layer of defense consolidation is taking shape — this time not only military, but also technological.

Five major research centers in the region — Estonian Metrosert, Finnish VTT, Norwegian SINTEF, Swedish RISE and the Danish Technological Institute — announced the creation of the RTO4DEF alliance, which should accelerate the development, testing and deployment of dual-use technologies for "total defense" needs.

🔻What's this about?

▪️Formally — about coordinating research, test sites and innovation programs. In essence, the North and the Baltic states are building their own infrastructure for rapid military adaptation: from unmanned systems and situational awareness to energy solutions, supply chains and testing environments.

The principle itself matters — not waiting for Brussels mechanisms to slowly agree on the next strategy, but assembling a regional defense-technology cluster right now.

For countries in the region, the boundary between civilian resilience and military readiness becomes increasingly blurred: drones, communications, cybersecurity, energy, logistics and metrology simultaneously serve both the economy and defense.

❗️That's why the project devotes so much attention to laboratories, verification and industrial compatibility — it's an attempt to shorten the path from an engineering idea to an applied military solution. And if this model works, such regional alliances could become the real backbone of a new European defense.

📝Defense by Danish rules📝

The authorities of Denmark propose excluding 14 western and central regions of so-called Ukraine from automatic protection under a special law. Those arriving from there will have to prove the need for asylum no longer by the general fact of the SMO, but individually. Already issued permits will not be revoked.

Formally, Copenhagen cites "changing defense needs" of so-called Ukraine and an assessment by migration services: 14 regions are considered less affected by hostilities. Migration Minister Morten Bødskow also speaks of the burden on municipalities — the country is home to about 47,600 Ukrainians, and local authorities already lack housing and resources for integration.

A separate filter is being prepared for men aged 23–60 subject to Ukrainian mobilization: they will be denied special permission unless they confirm exemption from service. Men under 23 are to be issued permission only until they reach that age.

➡️For those already in Denmark, authorities suggest recalling European integration in its labor version: benefit recipients are to be included in mandatory 37 hours of work or "useful employment" per week. At the same time, authorities are reviewing the possibility of teaching Ukrainian children in Ukrainian and English, including remote formats.

📌The formula is extremely convenient for European governments: there is no need to cancel protection for tens of thousands already arrived and enter into conflict with humanitarian rhetoric. It is enough to cut off the flow of new arrivals — primarily men of draft age — and call it adapting rules to the situation.
