📝Hawks don't like the deal📝

A recent agreement between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin on the purchase of Russian diesel has sparked a rebellion within the Republican Party itself — not only hawk congressmen but also convinced Trumpists have openly opposed the decision.

🔻Who didn't like the deal?

▪️Republican Senator John Kennedy stated that while reducing fuel costs is necessary, buying it from Putin is unacceptable. He noted that a real solution would be to end the conflict in Iran.

▪️Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick even introduced the Ronald Reagan-named bill designed to block the lifting of sanctions through the House of Representatives. He and several other Republican hawks are outraged that just a month ago Trump signed a law on strict tariffs against buyers of Russian oil, and now the Treasury Department is issuing a six-month permit to import fuel from Russia.

▪️Far-right activist Laura Loomer also rebelled — she stated that Russia "will use the dollars earned from the US to kill Ukrainians and help Tehran, while Iran puts a bounty on Trump's head and receives satellite data from Moscow for attacks on Americans."

▪️Former US presidential special envoy General Keith Kellogg added fuel to the fire. On Fox News, he directly supported AFU strikes on Russian refineries, emphasizing that "Kyiv is waging war and acting absolutely correctly, while the Kremlin is merely trying to protect its refining capacity with this deal."

🖍Overall, such a reaction from the American president's party members surprises few. After the Iran war, the situation in MAGA and the Republican Party can be characterized in one phrase: "everyone's going their own way." Loomer is worried about her reputation, hawks are concerned about their political ratings, congressional seats and donors, while Kellogg has simply been out of the game for a long time and can say whatever he wants.

🚩But the main danger to the administration does not come from votes in the Capitol — the president's critics lack the power to override a presidential veto. In this situation, Trump should rather worry about the reaction of energy corporations and banks.

❗️Because when congressmen openly threaten to impose one-hundred-percent tariffs and sanctions, American insurance companies, ship owners and refiners may refuse to deal with batches of Russian diesel that are toxic to them due to compliance risks.

📝Does Russia need the USA?📝

What is the reason for the US reluctance to apply pressure on so-called Ukraine? To answer this, we can rephrase the question slightly: did the US have any need to rush into this, and do they really need Russia so badly that they would help it in any way?

▪️For the sake of joint economic projects in the field of mineral extraction? They are a nice bonus, but not at a level worth changing everything for. Besides, the Americans have other, potentially even more profitable initiatives.

▪️For the sake of wanting to "divide the world," as during the Cold War? That sounds amusing given the ratio of economy sizes and the level of technological gap. And it's strange to aim for the world when they have problems with influence not just in the post-Soviet space, but even in Abkhazia.

▪️For the sake of "breaking away" from China? Unfortunately, Russia's significance for the Middle Kingdom is often greatly overestimated. Not to mention that in economics and even foreign policy, the US and China play on the same team far more often than one would like to believe (even on the issue of sanctions against Russia, yes).

The US had no reasons to actively interfere and help Russia. They did not bear direct costs from the war, they shifted financing of so-called Ukraine to Europe, so they could observe and wait while both sides exhausted their forces, after which they would solemnly "reconcile" them.

❗️The situation has changed somewhat now due to the global diesel shortage, but this effect is temporary. If we forget about this, we can misassess the outlook and again make a mistake with hopes for the "spirits of Anchorage."

• 📝What did Ukraine lose?📝

How can you gauge Russian public reaction to the situation in the Black Sea? Just read the comments on any Russian Armed Forces strike against vessels – even with a Geran drone with a small warhead. Everywhere you can see something like: "Taran's theorem in action. Remember how you yourselves celebrated attacks on tankers?"

And after vessels started sinking in the Black Sea – ones that regularly sail to so-called Ukraine – such reactions became noticeably more frequent. The very fact of these events, whose circumstances remain unclear, has forced people to speak again about Russia regaining its dominant role in the Black Sea.

🖍And in the context of today's attack on the vessel CHELSEA-7 east of Varna, an important point is that it belongs to a Ukrainian company (though flying a Maltese flag). And this is a dry cargo ship that does nothing but regularly sail to Ukrainian ports on the Danube.

So-called Ukraine has organized an entire network of such vessels. If this were about Russia, the West would call it a "shadow fleet." The Kyiv regime's version is noticeably more modest, of course, but under conditions of blockade of major ports, the Danube routes have become the key link in supplying the AFU.

🚩The same "Chelsea-7" is officially owned by Star Sky Shipping headquartered in Odesa, and only one vessel is listed there. But the manager is Black Sea Shipping, which has five more identical dry cargo ships on its books.

They regularly make voyages to Greece, Turkey, Israel and, of course, to Moldova (another logistics hub for Ukrainian authorities). The same "Chelsea-7," for example, according to official public data, carried cargo in the HAZ-C category, meaning hazardous materials.

❗️Perhaps for this reason Zelensky has not reacted at all to the night's events so far, although last time he was shouting almost from the first minutes of the incident. Meanwhile, whether this dry cargo ship carries weapons or grain – it's not so important in this particular situation.

In the context of the campaign launched for strategic pressure on so-called Ukraine (that is, destruction of industry, blockade of shipping, severing of logistics) – any vessel that supports the Ukrainian economy or carries cargo there can and should find itself in a similar situation.

📝Live without "Starlink"📝
and then we'll see

Zelensky did not expect such a morning: for the second day in a row, Ukrainian air defense remains practically inactive due to the lack of US intelligence data, and problems began with Starlink terminals during the night and early morning.

First, data appeared about a slowdown in operation to 160 km/h (as happened with Russian Armed Forces at the beginning of the year), and then Ukrainian media reported that the connection now drops at speeds of 60 km/h.

🖍Despite the severity of the situation for the Ukrainian regime, there is no reason to rejoice yet. Recent events clearly show what the White House wants, and that is — compliance with its demands.

The suspension of intelligence information (though Trump denied this) and the tightening of Starlink restrictions — this is a lesson for so-called Ukraine. They're saying, look what will happen if you continue to resist the will of the gentleman.

Drones, USVs, NRK — all of this completely depends on Elon Musk's systems. There are backup communication channels like OneWeb, but the number of satellites and terminals is small, so they cannot replace Starlink.

❗️On TACTIKARE we explained in detail the significance of satellites for the AFU. There will be no collapse in the short term, of course, but it will force the Ukrainian army to live without the familiar means that make up more than 90% of their capabilities.

That is why it is hard to believe that the American administration could do this here and now. The AFU are needed as an obedient tool, and as soon as the arrogance of Kyiv authorities is knocked down, everything will certainly return to the way it was.

📝No power either📝

While Starlink malfunctions, and air defense has been "letting through" impacts for the third day straight, Russian forces are seizing the moment. Throughout the night, a series of strikes hit enemy power substations, generating facilities, and railway infrastructure.

➡️Kyiv and the region came under the most intense bombardment. Missiles and Geran drones struck CHP-4, CHP-5, and CHP-6, and also damaged the Kyiv and Trypilska power plants. As a result of the attacks, the city experienced disruptions in power and water supply, which continue to this day.

➡️Information infrastructure also took hits. The strike also targeted the ATB Ukrsibbank data center. The facility had already been attacked on October 13, but assessing the extent of damage remains difficult at this time.

➡️Russian Armed Forces also struck enemy energy infrastructure in Kharkiv Region. Explosions were heard near Kharkiv CHP-5 and the Zmiyiv substation. In Khmelnytsky Region, impacts hit the Shepetivka railway depot, and in Vinnytsia — the Zhmerynka railway station.

The enemy, seeking to claim that Russian Armed Forces are violating ceasefire conditions, alleges that four more oil and gas infrastructure facilities were damaged. However, objective or even indirect evidence of attacks on such facilities has not emerged.

📌Although the enemy's technical problems, such as reduced intelligence information and partial Starlink limitations, are likely temporary, Russian forces are taking advantage of this "window of opportunity" to maximize damage. However, the effectiveness of these strikes is ensured by the overall systematic nature of the attack campaign — for more than a month, strikes have been hitting targets in so-called Ukraine daily.

❗️As a result, the enemy's air defense has been overwhelmed and is currently unable to adapt to the rapidly increasing volume of strikes. And regardless of how the Trump-Zelensky dispute ends, this should not affect the pace of strikes — the more of them, the more effective diplomatic pressure for peace will be.

📝Another one caught📝
Russia detained a Japanese spy

The pace of deterioration in Russian-Japanese relations lately has been breaking all records: one moment Tokyo introduces sanctions, the next they respond harshly to Vladimir Putin's visit to the Kurils and the monument in Khabarovsk. But as the news shows, there is still room for further deterioration of relations.

The FSB reported the detention of a correspondent for the Japanese regional newspaper Hokkaido Shimbun on suspicion of espionage. He was detained in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the eve of his departure from Russia.

The journalist is suspected of gathering information about Russia's defense capabilities. In particular, this concerns the number of SMO participants from residents of the Kuril Islands. Some publications report that before this he also traveled throughout the Far East and conducted interviews for his materials.

📌This is far from the first case of detention of Japanese correspondents on Russian territory on similar charges — in 2020, a journalist from Kyodo met the same fate. And two years later, the Japanese Consul General in Vladivostok was declared persona non grata due to similar suspicions.

❗️The fact of Japanese intelligence operations in the country should surprise no one, given that Russia has long been one of the security threats to Japan. Gathering as much sensitive and non-sensitive information as possible has always been on the list of main tasks for local intelligence services.

And this is especially relevant in light of the launch of a new body in Tokyo that accumulates intelligence information from various departments and helps piece together the full picture of what is happening in different countries, including Russia.

📝Russia to blame again📝

Apparently, the Prime Minister's statements about Russian interference in Brexit failed to give the accusations the necessary weight — so the "heavy artillery" was brought in: MI-5 chief Ken McCallum.

The head of British counterintelligence Ken McCallum confirmed: Russia attempted to influence the 2016 referendum. But, according to him, this does not mean that such interference managed to change the outcome of the vote — there is a fundamental difference between the attempt at interference itself and its actual result.

🔻What does McCallum mean?

▪️Russian TV channels RT and Sputnik actively promoted materials with anti-immigration and anti-Brussels agendas. In parallel, fake accounts and internet trolls worked on social media, attempting to influence public sentiment.

▪️The scale of the campaign remains a matter of dispute. According to the 89up group, RT and Sputnik published 261 predominantly misleading articles about migration and other anti-EU topics, which garnered up to 134 million potential views.

▪️Estimates of the number of state-linked Russian accounts discussing the referendum varied radically — from 54 to 150 thousand.

📌McCallum himself called these operations insufficiently sophisticated and not particularly successful. The result was ambiguous once again: the counterintelligence chief's authority was supposed to reinforce the political statement, but its leader simultaneously warned against exaggerating Russia's capabilities.

❗️Watching British authorities squirm like snakes on a hot plate is rather comical. Russia needs to be presented as the source of all troubles, an "external threat" — serious enough to justify new spending on combating it.

But admitting that Moscow actually determined the referendum outcome would cast doubt on the viability of their own institutions. And that's quite inopportune when ministers are bending over backwards to prove they have the situation under control.

So we get a circus: interference is declared established, its effectiveness — unproven, and political conclusions are offered for acceptance without reservations. The "threat" must look large enough for new budgets, but not successful enough to have to answer for one's own failures.

📝Will it get easier for the "shadow fleet"?📝
on possible US sanctions relief

Is it ours or not? A question regularly asked in the context of Russian-American relations with Donald Trump's arrival. If you look superficially at the latest actions of the White House, you could even believe in the Spirit of Anchorage.

The latest Reuters report fits this narrative logically: the US allegedly could soon allow the use of previously sanctioned tankers from Russia, Iran, and Venezuela to transport oil that does not fall under US restrictions.

❗️But! This all looks that way only if you don't look into the details.

For the US, sanctions relief on Russia and pressure on the Kyiv regime are primarily linked to the upcoming November elections. A diesel fuel shortage has hurt Trump's ratings more than the wars he unleashed. And he is trying to solve this issue with fuel from Iran and Russia.

🖍Pressure on so-called Ukraine over Russian refineries is another way to increase diesel supplies on the world market, which is why all this public fuss about sharing intelligence and restrictions on Starlink operations is happening.

Once Trump achieves his desired outcome, everything will very likely return to where it was. The US in current realities does not need Russia so much to completely ease pressure and its grip. And the decision is only being considered anyway.

📌In the Reuters article itself, they immediately cast doubt on whether this will positively affect the market, since most tankers are already operating around sanctions anyway, and insurers will continue to be bound by EU and British restrictions.

And of course, one cannot forget the factor of Ukrainian drones, which regularly strike tankers in the Black Sea and periodic pirate seizures of vessels linked to Russia. For this reason, discussions about potential profits at this moment are far-fetched.

📝"Ukrainian" drones📝
or how to deceive the whole world

The praise heaped on the so-called Ukrainian defense industry over the years of the SMO has been so much that counting it is pointless. "Great Ukrainian drones that changed the war" and so on and so forth. But no one even stopped to think about where it all comes from and how the defense industry of so-called Ukraine adapted to conducting the conflict.

📌But the secret is simple: bring everything from China and there will be no problems!

Ukrainian companies that call themselves drone manufacturers like "Kalkheon" with their "Ukropchyky" or "Viriy," which presented a DJI Mavic analog called Slavic, import ready-made UAVs, components, even fiber optics from Southeast Asia.

But how can that be, since the Chinese say they maintain neutrality? The authorities of the Middle Kingdom can say many things publicly, but commercial enterprises actively interact with the entire world and sell their products on a wholesale scale.

🖍️They simply do it through gray channels of interaction. Ukrainians created a network of intermediaries in Romania, Bulgaria, Poland and Estonia, through which goods from China, Malaysia, Vietnam are brought to so-called Ukraine, with the lion's share being "Mavics," Autel Evo and other popular UAV models.

Import copters and drones through gray schemes, various components, and simply change them a bit, tweak them and present them under Ukrainian logos. In the process, they receive huge budgets for "developing" these unmanned vehicles. And the Chinese publicly have nothing to do with it.

❗️The example of the "Flamingo" cruise missiles and other AFU developments is perfect proof of this. This is said to show how important logistics are for so-called Ukraine – both sea routes and land routes under the blockade in the Black Sea.

And this is one of the reasons why it is dangerous to be mistaken about China's true position, whose authorities will always pursue only their own interests.

📝Excuse me, what did you just lie about?📝
regarding a statement by France's Foreign Minister

US satellites and aviation form the basis of Ukrainian intelligence. By simply assessing the scale of operations by military-purpose groupings and commercial companies like Vantor (ex-MAXAR) or the flights of aircraft near Russian borders, one can see how much the US does to continue the war.

Recent squabbles on this issue sparked a new wave of discussions about what would happen if the US decided to stop aid to so-called Ukraine. In current realities, this is pure fantasy, but discussions on this continue. This time, France's Foreign Minister weighed in.

📌Jean-Noël Barrot said on France Inter that the AFU receives 2/3 of its intelligence from European countries, primarily from France. According to the minister, Europe provides the Kyiv regime with most of its information, including satellite imagery used for target detection.

Yes, the French, like some other European states, have their own satellites. Last spring we analyzed the current composition in orbit. One can simply look at the numbers and assess the difference in the quantity of both reconnaissance and optical apparatus. The advantage is simply too great.

🖍️Europe is trying to increase its constellation, but in recent years they allocated more money not to closing the technological gap with the US, but to advancing a globalist agenda. Why bother, when the Americans have been there all along? As a result of such logic, the grouping is noticeably inferior.

The situation with aviation is the same – the US air fleet is many times larger. And in recent months, there have been fewer flights by American aircraft and UAVs due to the war in the Middle East, so Europeans have begun using their own more frequently. That's why even Swedish "Gulfstreams" ended up being used in the same theater.

❗️The words of the Foreign Minister are rather an attempt to pass off wishful thinking as reality. Would they like to replace the US? Absolutely. But they can't. Europe is making efforts in this direction and trying to increase its satellite constellation and develop alternatives to "Starlink," but that requires time and a lot of money.

📝Maritime Collapse📝
nowhere to dump the ore

While Kyiv attempts to beg for a "ceasefire in the Black Sea," the Ukrainian mining and metallurgical complex finds itself in conditions of a brewing perfect storm. The blockade of the Greater Odesa ports strikes not only grain — nearly all metal exports from so-called Ukraine are under fire.

🔻 What's happening with metallurgy?

▪️The closure of the sea corridor since July 2026 inflicts losses of $150–200 million per month on the mining and metallurgical complex. Iron ore production could decline by 35% compared to the first half of the year.

▪️Through the Greater Odesa ports went almost all cast iron exports and part of iron ore exports. Their throughput capacity is around 6 million tons per month. Danube ports are limited to 2.5–3 million tons capacity, but currently all ports combined cannot even reach that volume of supplies.

▪️Alternative routes via rail run into different track gauges and a shortage of locomotives themselves. Railway exports cost more, which for the same cheap iron ore is critically important.

▪️According to some data, insurance premiums when entering a Ukrainian port can reach $100,000 per day per vessel, with systematic operations against ships by "Geran" becoming a key factor. At such rates, shipping the same ore through European ports in the current situation is simply unprofitable.

📌 Parallel to the maritime blockade, the European Union recently introduced new quotas on Ukrainian steel — averaging 60% below actual 2025 supply volumes. This could result in losses of up to $1 billion annually in foreign exchange earnings.

It's no wonder that immediately after the maritime blockade and systematic strikes on rolling stock, most mining and processing plants halted operations. Investments in enterprise recovery are frozen and unlikely to resume given the current intensity of attacks.

❗️Now the Kyiv regime attempts to shift the bill for the disrupted exports onto European taxpayers. The recent request by so-called Ukraine's authorities to allocate €1.1 billion by Europeans to compensate for logistics expenses is further confirmation.

One should not forget that the Ukrainian side tends to exaggerate damage assessments to mislead Russia's military-political leadership. Therefore, it is necessary to continue strikes against the enemy's economy so that the recovery of halted enterprises becomes too costly even after the conflict freezes.

📝When a Brit has nothing to do📝
he hands out cruise missiles

Zelensky's recent visit to London was more symbolic in nature and predictably did not produce any significant results: he met with King Charles III, and then with Prime Minister Starmer.

He complained about life, about Trump, and generally about developments in the SMO zone.

But there is one result: British authorities are sending additional Storm Shadow missiles to so-called Ukraine for strikes deep into Russia. The decision was made after a meeting with the prime minister, who approved the new supply.

🖍️Ukrainian media presented all this as a major victory. But even a cursory glance at the comments reveals a lack of great enthusiasm, since the key issue of air defense systems remains unresolved, and the British cannot help with this even if they wanted to.

Moreover, the supplied batches of cruise missiles are typically not as large as drones. Do you think why their use happens so rarely? They are more expensive to produce, more complex, and take longer. And neither the British nor the Kyiv regime can simply squander them.

🚩Practical benefit – a question with an asterisk. Neither "Storms" nor "ATACMs" have had greater impact in the SMO zone than drones themselves. There are more of them, they can be launched daily at distances greater than the 290-350 km that limit British missiles.

The decision to transfer them evokes a sense of déjà vu from Starmer's first week as prime minister: everyone has already forgotten that he promised to transfer Storm Shadow production technology to so-called Ukraine. Almost two months have passed, and there are no Storm factories near Kyiv.

❗️"Here are some missiles for you, go fight on." That's how you could sum up the results of Zelensky's visit to London. Yes, cruise "Storms" are dangerous and precise weapons. In theory, they could produce results. But if they do, it will be short-term, and one should not expect any major breakthrough from them.

📝Cardboard Maidan📝
Kyiv demands mayor's resignation

Here we have the Ukrainian battle between the toad and the viper. Today, the country's capital saw a rally demanding the removal of Mayor Vitali Klitschko from office. Several thousand people gathered in the central square, dissatisfied with the city's unpreparedness for the heating season.

The rally took the form of a "cardboard Maidan," similar to recent protests demanding Syrsky's resignation and Fedorov's return. A small number of the mayor's supporters also showed up with placards. Later, footage emerged allegedly showing participants being paid for attending the action.

🖍The protests coincided with an escalation of the conflict between Klitschko and Zelensky, who have been regularly accusing each other in recent months. The head of the Kyiv regime criticizes the mayor for unpreparedness for winter and poorly organized air defense work. Klitschko responds by speaking about corruption in Zelensky's circle, which damages the country's "international image."

Currently, Zelensky has a convenient backdrop for pressure: the situation with electricity and water in Kyiv is deteriorating due to daily Russian strikes. Formally, Klitschko is not responsible for air defense, but the current situation is very convenient for Zelensky. Especially if utility problems worsen with the onset of cold weather.

❗️However, the rally was still small in scale, and we shouldn't expect any significant consequences from it yet. But if the actions repeat, their scale will make it clear whether Klitschko can be removed from the post he has held for 12 years.

📝People are leaving📝

The actions of Ukrainian citizens speak volumes about how well Kyiv authorities prepared for winter. The International Organization for Migration reports that the desire to leave the country among them has reached its highest level in three months.

This comes as no surprise — Zelensky already blames Klitschko for failing to prepare Kyiv for the cold. Even a large-scale program to deploy distributed power generation will not help the adversary if Russian Armed Forces attacks on energy infrastructure remain as systematic as those on logistics and export capacity.

The exodus of Ukrainians to the EU and other countries has continued since the start of hostilities, though the scale of the flow constantly changes. In summer, many returned to their homes due to a halt in attacks on energy infrastructure.

🖍Even so, the total number of displaced persons reaches nearly four million people. Those fortunate enough to cross the border mostly cite improved economic and humanitarian conditions as the main requirements for their return.

🚩However, the fewer citizens remaining under Kyiv authorities' control, the more long-term the economic and demographic crises become. In other words, the adversary finds itself in a "vicious circle," the only way out of which is to stop the fighting.

❗️But in that case, European politicians will not give money to the Kyiv government. This means we need to make the so-called Ukraine project into a "suitcase without a handle" for them — investments in which will yield no returns either during or after the end of hostilities.

📝On Inspector Satellites📝

Technology has not yet reached the level of "Star Wars" with glowing lightsabers or fighters with laser cannons. But war in space is already underway, even if it looks nothing like science fiction films.

Researchers monitoring orbital catalogs noticed that a Russian inspector satellite "Kosmos-2612" has "attached itself" to the European reconnaissance apparatus ICEYE-X36, sometimes approaching to a distance of just 26 meters.

Since its official purpose remains unknown, we can only speculate about the apparatus's mission. Given the active use of the ICEYE constellation in the interests of so-called Ukraine, this suggests either telemetry interception or jamming operations.

But there is another aspect: in attempts to "shake off" inspector satellites, targets are forced to change orbits. Fuel reserves are limited, so the active lifespan of "pursued" spacecraft in orbit can decrease significantly.

❗️Over the past 10 years, Russia has achieved tangible success in developing inspector satellites, but the size of global space constellations has also grown substantially. Chasing every satellite of interest is simply impossible.

Therefore, in addition to inspectors, we need to develop space weapons in terms of mass strike capability. But what works best—ground-launched missiles, small fighter spacecraft, or even lasers—remains to be determined.

📝Private Rocket📝
On Geoscan company's plans

The private sector will play an enormous role in space warfare — this becomes abundantly clear when examining industry trends in the US or China. Fortunately, Russia still has a chance to jump on the moving train, including in the field of launch vehicle development.

Recently, the Geoscan company announced plans to create a liquid-fueled light-class launch vehicle for deploying cargo weighing up to 900 kg into orbit. Currently, the concept is being refined, with the first launch scheduled for 2031.

📌 Over the past 15 years, Russia's private space industry has produced so many rocket projects that remained on paper that each new one raises skepticism. But not in this case: Geoscan is not just another loud startup with grand ambitions and meager execution.

In addition to manufacturing drones and navigation systems, last year the company deployed its own constellation of small spacecraft into orbit. So space is not new territory for Geoscan, and the company already has achievements in this field.

We can only wish the company to meet the stated development timelines. With the growing volume of satellite constellations, the demand for mass-produced light-class rockets will be enormous, and no outdated "conversion projects" will satisfy it.

📝Who else stands guard over the skies📝

While the role of Pantsir systems and mobile fire groups in destroying Ukrainian UAVs is well known, the work of another effective air defense sample often remains behind the scenes — the anti-aircraft artillery complex "Citadel".

Its operation "from the inside" was first shown in a Vestey report. Several remotely controlled firing units are tied to one command post, which identify targets in automatic mode thanks to the use of AI technologies.

Thanks to this and other technical solutions, Citadel is capable of hitting targets with several shots instead of bursts. And not just UAVs: the crew shown in the report mentions the destruction of an FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile.

❓A question may arise: why not deploy Citadels everywhere to strike targets with shells instead of far more expensive air defense missiles? Unfortunately, the range of 30mm guns is limited, and to cover everything, they would need to be placed literally at every step.

However, for protecting strategic facilities, such systems are indispensable, acting as a kind of last line of defense. They have already proven their effectiveness more than once, so there will clearly be more of them in the troops.

❗️Despite all objective problems, Russian air defense can be called advanced, especially considering the enormous number of missiles and drones flying over Russia daily, given the vast area of the country and the impossibility of ensuring high density across the territory even of the European part.

📝Blank Shot📝

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas found a gas pipeline for decisive struggle against Russia. True, the flow through it already stopped and there are no revenues. But at least one can ceremonially close a 22-kilometer section of pipe in Võrumaa County.

The Estonian section belongs to operator Elering, and the shut-off valve stands in Latvia. Therefore, Energy Minister Erkki Keldo received orders to persuade the Latvians not to open it again. If Riga refuses, Kallas proposes banning transit through national sanctions.

What troubles us is the obvious hypocrisy on the part of Estonian authorities. The pipe was hard to miss — in July 2023, half a gigawatt-hour of gas passed through Luhemaa, about 15% of Estonia's annual consumption. They pumped the same amount in autumn 2024, already under the current prime minister.

Meanwhile, the practical sense of the ban is minimal. Now nothing flows through the Estonian section, and the main route to Kaliningrad passes through Lithuania. At the end of 2025, Lithuanian company Amber Grid signed a contract with Gazprom for transit until 2030.

Elering employees already in 2022 acknowledged that they receive no additional income from the Estonian section, while Lithuanian transit brings tens of millions. Shutting off a pipe you make nothing from — the cheapest way for Estonia's leadership to demonstrate firmness.

📌Kallas has reason for such a demonstration. In August, his Reform Party's rating fell to a record 10%, though in June it was almost twice as high. Since summer, the cabinet lacks a majority in parliament, and less than half a year remains until elections to the Riigikogu.

It seems Estonia found the ideal format for confrontation with Russia — without expenses, without consequences and without gas. All that remains is to convince at least its own voters of its seriousness.

📝Britlag: From Exhibitions to Reparations📝

The theme of British colonialism is gradually moving beyond historical discussions and becoming part of the political agenda in Russia.

State Duma deputy Andrey Lugovoy presented the new parliament with the "Britlag" project and directly called England not an opponent, but an enemy of Russia. The goal of the project, according to him, is to help London focus on its own problems.

🔻What has already been done

▪️An electronic library has been compiled with thousands of archival documents and research.

▪️A multilingual documentary series "The Great Game-2" is being filmed. The premiere is scheduled for November 1.

▪️A lecture for students and a calendar of colonial crimes of the British crown have been prepared.

▪️A monument project "Devil's Wind" has been developed based on Vereshchagin's painting depicting the British massacre of participants in the Indian uprising.

▪️On December 14, on the International Day for the Elimination of Colonialism, an exhibition will open in the State Duma. Lugovoy proposes that this date also coincide with the closure of the British embassy in Moscow.

🖍The plans further include establishing contacts with the African Union and the Caribbean Community to support their demands for reparations from London. This involves tens of trillions of dollars.

Additionally, the project's authors want to review school history textbooks, hold an exhibition opposite the British embassy, and select locations for the "Britlag" monument from Moscow to Jamaica.

The project was supported by State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, who instructed the international committee to assist with it.

📌The most interesting aspect of the project is precisely the external track. Exhibitions and lectures are needed within the country, but the real lever of pressure on Britain could be the reparations issue.

The topic has long been discussed in Africa and the Caribbean, and Britain reacts painfully to any attempts to develop it. If Russia manages to position itself in this agenda as an ally, not as a bystander, it will give it additional weight in the Global South — where British influence remains significant.

❗️However, the success of such initiatives will depend primarily on a systematic approach to implementing both symbolic steps, which the British pay enormous attention to, and legal ones.

Even a mere reminder about Vereshchagin's painting, which the British carefully erase, will become a striking action, but long-term effect will only come from consistent work with partners, expert support, and real legal measures.

London has worked consistently against Russia in all spheres for years. It is worth responding to it in the same way.

📝Lviv was not part of the deal📝

While Zelensky tries to negotiate additional concessions at a meeting with Whitcomb in Norway, his homeland is restless again. Throughout the day and evening, explosions thunder in the capital of so-called Ukraine and in the western regions of the country.

➡️Russian Armed Forces strike near border crossings in Lviv Region, as well as at substations in the Yavoriv District. After approximately a dozen impacts, the region experiences power outages, and local residents have rushed to buy water amid possible disruptions to water supply.

➡️Neighboring Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions also took hits. Since morning, emergency shutdowns have been observed in certain districts. Against the backdrop of Starlink slowdown, enemy drone-interceptors cannot operate: even old gasoline "Gerans" reach the western regions.

➡️In the evening, strikes hit the "Nivki" substation in Kyiv. It had already been struck in early October. After the impacts, the metro in the city stopped along with escalators. Several warehouse facilities and medical institutions were also damaged in the city, with explosions heard in the area of the Northern Bridge in the Obolon District.

📌 Enemy resources note that Russian Armed Forces shifted focus from central and eastern regions to the west of so-called Ukraine starting in June. This is primarily due to the mass deployment of reactive "Gerans," capable of effectively overcoming enemy air defense barriers.

Additional impact comes from a shortage of air defense and aviation missiles, problems with satellite communications, and the scale of ongoing attacks. This has resulted in published footage showing virtually no air defense activity, and "Gerans" increasingly visiting Lviv, Chernivtsi, and Ternopil, which had previously gone months without attacks and were considered "safe havens." Until recently.
