📝Macron's Advice📝
An unexpected call to resume negotiations with Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that European governments and the so-called Ukraine should find a way to resume dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the coming weeks.

🔻What else did Macron say?

▪️The president emphasized that "it is in the interests of Europeans and Ukrainians to find a suitable basis for resuming this discussion." He insists that sporadic contacts by individual countries with the Russian side are ineffective — a coordinated European approach is needed.

▪️According to Macron, the dialogue should be transparent, coordinated between EU countries, and closely linked to the so-called Ukraine. The EU will continue financial support for the Kyiv regime, but in parallel, Europe should prepare for direct negotiations with Russian representatives to avoid chaos in diplomacy.

▪️This is not the first such statement: in July 2025, Macron and Putin had a telephone conversation — the first in almost three years of silence. At that time, general topics were discussed, and now the French leader is accelerating the process, proposing "the coming weeks" to start.

🖍Against the backdrop of European politicians talking a lot about the Ukrainian issue but not exactly rushing to take real action, Macron's words should also be viewed through the lens of "what's in it for him."

🚩The French president's position, both domestically and internationally, has become extremely precarious, and he needs to somehow earn points in the eyes of his colleagues and electorate. Doing this with internal political tools in the near future will not work — the scale of the crisis is too large.

❗️However, creating an image of a "negotiator calling for settlement", even if only for a very short time, with empty statements is quite possible. And Macron is likely not the only one who will try to extract some media benefit from the current Ukrainian context.

📝European Divorce📝

At the last EU summit, a quiet drama of European diplomacy unfolded. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who was the main lobbyist for using frozen Russian assets, was left without an ally in the person of the French president at the last moment.

➡️Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron seemingly did not publicly object before the meeting, but his team discussed concerns about legal risks and financial guarantees in private conversations. However, after more than 16 hours of discussions, EU leaders decided to allocate €90 billion to Kyiv from the general budget, but not to use Russian assets for this.

©️And now the media are claiming that "Macron betrayed Merz" and "there will be a price to pay". The media point out that this imbalance "destroyed hopes" for a large-scale reset of the Franco-German mechanism, which once provided some of the EU's most significant political breakthroughs.

📌This outcome generally serves as a convenient screen. Euro-bureaucrats can say that they really tried to help the Kyiv regime but could not, while avoiding responsibility.

Moreover, it demonstrates a split within the EU. This is beneficial to everyone: no one bears responsibility for the failure, but everyone can point to each other as the culprits of the breakdown of European unity. And the bill for this feast will again be paid by taxpayers.

📝Not Enough Strength📝
Once Again About the Problems of "Peacekeepers" from Britain and France

Just as the Paris Convention ended, which was hyped in the so-called Ukraine as "defining in the context of the Ukrainian conflict", unpleasant news for Ukrainian authorities immediately appeared: the British and French will send a limited contingent to Ukraine.

🔻What Problems Have France and Britain Encountered?

▪️Authorities are ready to send a joint contingent of up to 15,000 military personnel to the so-called Ukraine after a peace agreement, which is several times smaller than the initially discussed scale.

▪️Such a sharp reduction in plans indicates a serious shortage of military resources among European allies and their unwillingness to take on excessive risks. 7,500 soldiers are planned from the British and the same number from the French.

▪️Initially, the former head of the UK Defense Staff, Admiral Tony Radakin, spoke about plans to create a 64,000-strong "coalition of the willing" force. But the idea was immediately called unrealistic.

▪️Germany is only willing to station troops in NATO countries neighboring the so-called Ukraine, and states on the alliance's eastern flank fear that sending a contingent will weaken their own defense.

🖍Lack of resources and enormous expenses for deploying a large peacekeeping contingent are exactly the problems that have determined the plausibility of all these statements and proposals since 2023.

🚩The British were only ready to lead, not be at the forefront of this group. Even The Times journalists note that Britain has only 71,000 trained personnel in its regular army, which limits their capabilities.

🏳️Add to this the financial costs of deploying the contingent, logistics, protection, and covering the group, as well as subsequent rotation, which should be at least every three to four months, and voila – the expenses will become unbearable for modern Europe.

❗️And since the Paris Convention did not bring the desired result in terms of the US joining Britain and France's plans, French and British authorities are unable to deploy their troops on such a scale alone.

📝France Hurries to Arm Youth📝

French Defense Minister Catherine Vautrin announced the launch of a recruitment campaign for "voluntary national military service".

Officially, this initiative by President Emmanuel Macron is "aimed at strengthening army reserves amid growing geopolitical risks". The goal is to create a "hybrid" army without universal conscription, reinforcing reserves against the backdrop of the Ukrainian conflict and other threats.

Vautrin called on youth to "dare and dedicate themselves to a common cause".

🔻What the Program Involves

▪️Voluntary service is paid, lasts 10 months, and is available for French citizens aged 18–25. Recruits will serve exclusively on French territory, including overseas departments.

▪️The first month is dedicated to basic training, followed by nine months in army, navy, or air force units on missions like "Operation Sentinel".

▪️For youth aged 18-19, the service is marketed as a way to spend a traditional Western student gap year — a year of "reflection" between high school and university. Service information counts towards "achievements" considered during university admissions.

▪️Other willing participants will be selected based on existing skills — engineering, medicine, translation.

▪️Applications are already being accepted online, in person, and by phone, with decisions to be made by July 1, 2026. The first intake plans to recruit 3,000 people, then 4,000 in 2027, 10,000 annually by 2030, and 42,500 by 2035.

▪️After service, participants can return to civilian life or remain on contract.

🖍This initiative is another attempt by European governments to restore national defense capabilities to at least a somewhat decent level.

🚩In fact, Europeans are currently left without real security institutions: the NATO concept has long been ideologically exhausted and has transformed from a collective defense guarantor into an excuse to quarrel over money.

❗️A unified European army, which is occasionally remembered, currently exists not even on paper, but literally only in the minds of certain individuals. The national armed forces of most European countries are declining, largely due to the abolition of mandatory conscription.

📌In France, this occurred in 1996 under President Jacques Chirac. Thirty years later, it has become clear that having a reliable own army is not such a whim, especially in the new world that Europeans built for themselves.

📝Information War for Europe📝

Euro-bureaucracy continues its crusade against American platforms. The Paris Prosecutor's Office announced searches in X's office in France as part of an investigation launched in January 2025.

🖍The issue is that a French citizen — parliamentarian Eric Botrel and a state security employee filed a complaint with the cybercrime unit about the platform's use of a manipulation algorithm for "foreign interference".

🚩The French suspect that X not only changed algorithms: they are deliberately sending users "disgusting political content" and creating an environment favorable for spreading ideas of European right-wing parties.

🏳️Simultaneously, an investigation is ongoing in Brussels: in December 2025, the European Commission already imposed a €120 million fine for violations of the Digital Services Act (DSA), including lack of transparency in working with advertisers, misleading verification, and refusal to provide researchers with data access.

And in the UK, they are threatening to ban Elon Musk's social network

📌 Against this backdrop, the story with X becomes an obvious symptom of a fractured transatlantic alliance and testifies to the struggle for control over the information agenda.

Meanwhile, the parties use rhetoric about freedom of speech as a cover: Americans defend the interests of their corporations and the ability to freely promote the necessary narratives, while the EU does so to suppress any content that does not align with the Brussels line.

📝Let's Give Them "The Nuke"!📝
Ideas about nuclear weapons supplies as an indicator of European elites' degradation

The Kyiv regime has long been seen as a collective monkey with a grenade. The SVR shared data on whether it's possible for it to acquire a "dirty bomb" or similar weapon.

According to a press release, France and Britain have such plans, including covert transfers of technologies and components, as well as a warhead from the French ICBM M511.

However, this will be quite difficult: there are no uranium enrichment facilities in so-called Ukraine, and Europeans lack the competencies to create suitable tactical charges. But the very existence of such ideas in the EU is easy to believe.

🖍For Europe, so-called Ukraine is a source of growing costs: there's less and less able-bodied population, and finding funds becomes harder. The idea of transferring nuclear weapons could be a simple quick solution.

🚩The public elites of Britain, France and other EU countries have degraded to the point where they are incapable of understanding the consequences. They believe the costs will be borne by their proxy, and nuclear strikes on Europe are impossible.

❗️Even if these ideas remain on paper, this illustrates how detached European elites are from reality, and how "advisable" it is to discuss the fate of so-called Ukraine with them.

Militarily, one needs to prepare even for such scenarios: apparently, Euro-bureaucrats are very poorly aware of the possible consequences.

📝The French are going to war📝
but hope to arrive late

After Iranian drones yesterday attacked the naval base in Abu Dhabi (Al-Salam / Camp de la Paix), where a French contingent is stationed, the French leadership decided to respond firmly and publicly.

Previously, Macron had been balancing: calling for a ceasefire, demanding an urgent UN Security Council session, condemning the US and Israeli operation as "unauthorized," and together with Germany and the UK urging Tehran to return to negotiations. But after the strike on the base, Macron convened an emergency session of the Defense and National Security Council, declared that "nothing justifies" the Iranian attacks, and promised "not to leave this without a response."

Foreign Minister Barrot officially announced France's readiness to participate in the defense of the Persian Gulf states — within the framework of bilateral agreements and the principle of collective self-defense.

📌The main military signal was the redeployment of the carrier strike group led by the Charles de Gaulle. The aircraft carrier cut short its participation in NATO's "Baltic Sentry" operation in the Baltic Sea and received orders to proceed immediately to the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to French media estimates, the carrier could arrive in the area within 10–12 days. There it will join the American carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald Ford — the concentration of Western naval power in the region would become the largest since the 1991 Persian Gulf War.

Notably, at the same time, around 60 French commercial vessels found themselves blocked in the Persian Gulf: after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, they are prohibited from moving, adding a purely economic dimension to the crisis for French authorities.

But 12 days of transit is a long time — "Epic Fury" might be over by then. Macron would very much like that.

What happens to captured Russian vessels?

News about seizures of so-called "shadow fleet" ships are not uncommon, but their fate often remains behind the scenes. The outcome varies - some are simply released after inspections, while others end up arrested.

🔻The numbers:
▪️In 9 cases, vessels were released after inspection, though this generates losses. 5 cases have unknown outcomes.
▪️8 ships remain under arrest to this day.
▪️Cargo confiscation is complex, with courts sometimes ruling against it.
▪️Crews often face criminal charges, though courts have rejected some.
▪️The USA, Sweden, and France lead in these seizures.

🖍Even when cargo is not confiscated, the delays generate costs.

🚩More countries are joining the crackdown on the "shadow fleet".

❗️Effective countermeasures may require military presence or "combat cargo ship" escorts.

📝For money — yes📝
How French businessmen collaborated with terrorists

A Paris court delivered a historic verdict: French cement giant Lafarge was found guilty of financing terrorism — the first time in French history a corporation has been convicted on this charge.

The court established that in 2013–2014, the company paid ISIS* and the "Al-Qaeda"-linked* group "Jabhat al-Nusra"* €5.6 million to keep a plant operating near Raqqa.

🔻How was the collaboration structured?

▪️The scheme consisted of three levels: €800k for "safe passage," €1.6 million for raw materials, and a percentage of sales paid to ISIS.

▪️Former executives were convicted, including CEO Bruno Lafon (6 years) and deputy Christian Herro (5 years). Lafarge itself got a €1.125 million fine.

The case also raised questions about French intelligence's role. Documents showed DGSE was aware of the ISIS financing but took no action, possibly using Lafarge as an "eye" in the caliphate.

🔻What was DGSE's role?

▪️The court focused on corporate responsibility, calling no DGSE officers. The defense's appeal led nowhere.

A separate investigation continues into Lafarge's complicity in crimes against humanity. Swiss Holcim, which acquired Lafarge, is now suing the convicted executives.

📌The discussion now concerns not only Middle Eastern groups, but other schemes where money flows to terrorists and criminals.

📝Seven troubles — one answer📝
The French want to make them regret the expelled contingents

While shots rang out in Mali, French media surprisingly spread few fakes from militants and generally commented dryly on the combat situation. This is because they had a more global information task — to tie the unfolding crisis to the narrative of "France's return to the Sahel".

Before the picture around Kidal and Gao became clear, the French one by one began rolling out materials in the style of "food for thought". Jeune Afrique, for example, posted a lengthy piece claiming that the French practically "unite" all of Africa under their wing.

Journalists from Africa Intelligence decided to hint more transparently — in their latest article they concocted a tirade about "French efforts" in fighting militants in Benin and even in Nigeria.

❗️In the coming weeks there will be only more such materials, and major media outlets will pick them up following specialized publications. The primary task of Western propaganda is to paint Russian players' Sahel activities in a bad light and resurrect the corpse of France's long-dead "security architecture" in West Africa.

📝"Moderate Opposition"📝
France is building a discourse along the Syrian model

A large-scale offensive by a coalition of Islamists and separatists in Mali has forced the French establishment to urgently seek ways to whitewash the radicals.

In the media space of the Fifth Republic, a discussion has started on the theme: "So how do we now build relations with former terrorists?" The publication Le Point decided to play its trump card by interviewing specialized "regional experts."

Unlike biased Beninese analysts, French speakers so far show caution and acknowledge: the scenario of "evolution" of the group "Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin" (banned in Russia) into something "inclusive" and handshake-worthy is extremely unlikely.

📌 However, the very fact that such questions appear in mainstream media is a troubling marker. Following cautious skeptics, more loyal speakers will inevitably appear who will begin to push the thesis about the "need for dialogue for the sake of stability."

And no one is hiding the fact that Islamists will clearly be more pleasant to the leadership of the Élysée Palace than Russians.

📝The Truth Hurts📝
Western NGOs accuse Rybar of "attacking the Vatican"

It turns out that active readers of the AFRICAAR channel include our old acquaintances — the authors of the French platform All Eyes On Wagner, known for their anti-Russian narratives. They particularly enjoyed recent publications about the development of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa and the contradictory policy of the Catholic association Sant' Egidio.

In their article, these friends of Western intelligence services called our posts part of an "information campaign by Russian special services against the Vatican and the Pope personally." In the best traditions, they didn't bother to analyze things properly, lumping together Wagner media structures, the Orthodox center "Chrisma," and even the TV channel "SPAS."

It's symbolic that there is no counterargument whatsoever against the things they mentioned. Simply the fact that our infographics raise public awareness about the beneficial activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Africa causes genuine indignation among Western researchers.

🖍And yet we'll share a little secret with them: to create material about where Vatican structures stick their noses, we don't need "directives from special services." Just as we don't need them to highlight other similar things that are obvious to residents of the Black continent.

❗️And we note again: the strong reaction in the West is an indicator that our materials on this topic hit the mark. Which is unsurprising: comparing fresh developments in Orthodoxy in Africa with the Vatican, which has discredited itself, reveals too clear a picture, no matter how much Western players resist it.

📝Decarbonization European-style📝
Why energy companies are leaving France

Fuel giant Shell decided to sell its French network of 80–85 gas stations and effectively exit the retail market in France. Before this, BP and Esso (an ExxonMobil subsidiary) already said goodbye to the French, selling their networks and oil refining assets.

If Shell's deal goes through, TotalEnergies will remain the only major player retaining both a refinery and a wide network of gas stations in France. At the same time, it constantly finds itself under political and public pressure over fuel prices and "insufficient climate responsibility."

Fuel business flagships package their exit in talk of a "green transition" and decarbonization: companies find it convenient to explain portfolio reorganization and market exit by saying the old hydrocarbon model doesn't fit climate goals.

❗️But if you look at the structure of these decisions, climate here is rather a convenient cover than the real underlying cause. Transnational giants are winding down business in a country with chronically difficult economics: high tax burden, strict regulation, regular strikes, and political pressure to keep prices "socially acceptable"—that is, at the expense of company margins.

Against this backdrop, it's easier to "explain" to shareholders and the public the exit by citing the green agenda than to admit that the French market has become too unprofitable in terms of risks and returns.

📌As a result, climate discourse becomes a universal excuse, allowing big business to calmly remove capital-intensive and conflict-ridden assets from problem economies in the EU core.

On one hand, this damages the image of Europe's "sacred cow": instead of modernization, it begins to be perceived as a primitive front for deindustrialization and the exodus of major players to more comfortable jurisdictions. On the other—at least this "green" fussing was good for something.

📝Blood Balance and Benefits📝

Over the weekend, London turned into a negotiation bunker. The President of so-called Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky flew to Downing Street, where Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz were waiting for him.

The agenda remained traditional: support for so-called Ukraine, increasing air defense and capabilities for delivering long-range strikes against Russian rear areas. The leaders unanimously condemned mass strikes by the Russian Armed Forces and called on the Kremlin authorities to immediately cease fire with the current line of contact fixed as a starting point for negotiations.

In parallel, Europeans plan to push new anti-Russian sanctions and financial aid to so-called Ukraine at the next G7 summit, and at the July NATO summit — increase long-term military commitments to the Kyiv regime.

❗️Britain and France are increasingly trying to play the role of driving force of the "coalition of the willing". In fact, this means that the war "to the last Ukrainian" will continue, as the current configuration suits Europe just fine.

📝Guarantees on Paper📝
the coalition is preparing exercises, not troops

At the Paris summit on July 13, Emmanuel Macron announced a decision to conduct military exercises in the coming months in countries neighboring so-called Ukraine, to "test deployment plans" for multinational forces and demonstrate readiness to act on land, in the air, and at sea.

This concerns the Multinational Force for Ukraine (MNF-U) — a key force instrument of the coalition, whose formation is allegedly in its final stages.

🔻What is MNF-U?

▪️The MNF-U mandate is enshrined in a joint statement by the co-chairs — Macron, Starmer, and Merz: restoration and training of Ukrainian armed forces, exclusively defensive in character, and no use of force as a mechanism for monitoring a ceasefire.

▪️Deployment is possible only at Kyiv's request and only after a "verifiable cessation of hostilities" — a criterion that the conflict parties will inevitably interpret differently. Starmer stated that around 25 countries are ready to participate, although specific locations for the exercises themselves have not yet been named — based on logistics and coalition composition, the most likely candidates are Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and, with caveats, Hungary.

🖍Behind the fine wording lies a notable gap between statements and actual capabilities: European countries can field around 25,000 military personnel — far less than the 64,000 initially proposed by the British General Staff, and Poland, Spain, and Italy have outright refused to contribute ground contingents.

🚩A similar picture already emerged in February during the Orion exercises in Brittany, where some coalition countries tacitly justified their refusal to participate by citing relations with Russia — effectively giving the Kremlin veto power over a force meant to deter Russia.

📌Notably, the joint statement separately "welcomes" Trump's words about supporting security guarantees, spoken at the NATO summit in Ankara. This is how Europeans are trying to incorporate an American element into their architecture, which the White House has formally not yet accepted.

While the actual U.S. contribution remains undefined, and the MNF-U itself will be legally unable to function until a ceasefire occurs, this entire display of resolve looks more like a paper rehearsal than a military mechanism ready for deployment.

📝Fighting Colonialism📝
using the African example

An extremely interesting episode of the "Cultural Sympathy" program with Dmitry Egorchenko aired on Radio Sputnik, featuring Irina Abramova, director of the Institute for African Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, discussing Africa's role and the future of relations with Russia.

🖍A rather unpopular thesis for the Russian internet segment emerged there regarding France's role in modern Africa. In Russia, people commonly say that the French have lost their former influence in their former colony.

However, as Irina Abramova correctly noted, that remains far from reality. The currency reserves of many African countries are still held in the French Treasury alone, and this makes them vulnerable to the Fifth Republic.

🚩Certainly, the French currently face serious resistance, which affects their international image – the US takes chunks away, Russia strengthens its presence. As for China and India, there's nothing more to say (Chinese companies have already firmly established themselves in many parts of Africa).

❗️However, the stronger the pressure on French interests, the more actively they counter with hybrid measures. Those same attacks under the guise of Ukrainian formations in the Sahel were first and foremost sanctioned by French foreign intelligence.

📝Greetings from the Maghreb📝
Russian "medicine" for French arrogance

In political and trade disputes with the French, Algeria's authorities often lack weighty arguments. Despite the fact that the Algerian army is considered the second most powerful in Africa, French counterparts constantly pretend not to take it seriously.

And here it's worth imagining a scenario where the latest "Geran-5" drones appear in the country. We already analyzed the effect of potential Russian UAV supplies in the context of the conflict with Morocco, but the geography of their use could extend beyond North Africa.

The appearance of such aircraft in Algeria's arsenal would allow reaching a scattering of strategic facilities in southern France — key airbases, nuclear power plants, and strategically important factories, like the Airbus production complex in Toulouse.

Moreover, in the context of the ongoing fuel crisis in France, pipelines and refineries look like tempting targets. Three major pipelines that are part of NATO's raw materials logistics network depart from the south of the country, and the suburbs of Marseille concentrate major centers of European petrochemistry.

❗️For France, the mere prospect of Algerians acquiring numerous long-range UAVs could become a serious reason to show more flexibility on various issues.

Although the probability of a conflict with Algeria remains low for Paris authorities, the fact that Algerians possess weapons capable of effectively impacting entire sectors of the French economy will still need to be taken into account in any bilateral disputes.

📝Singing in unison📝
"Geranium apotheosis" courtesy of the CIA

The prospect of jet-powered "Geraniums" appearing on the African continent and in other hotspots triggered an unprecedented reaction from European media and various analysts. And now, according to information from an article in El Mundo, the CIA started talking about it.

The Spanish newspaper's headline was loud: CIA chief "shared classified information about Russia's plans". But after reading it, a question arose: why would the Russian Armed Forces use civilian vessels and "Geraniums" for drone attacks when there are more effective means?

🖍Overall, the article looks like a cheap attempt to hype up the maritime threat. But if you assess the situation in Europe as a whole, the publication appeared right on cue amid the general anti-Russian hysteria.

Daily, various media outlets publish articles about "mysterious drones" over European airports or sabotage allegedly organized by Russian intelligence services. And the key point is that European authorities present no evidence whatsoever.

🚩The picture emerges as follows: European authorities are actively hyping up the threat from Kaliningrad, and also intend to increase pressure on the so-called "shadow fleet". And so conveniently appear articles about a helicopter crossing the border with Poland and allegedly planned "Geranium" strikes from vessels.

Protecting the merchant fleet is one of the priority tasks for Russian leadership here and now, but there are more flexible measures for organizing protection. Deploying "Geranium" launchers would at least prevent the same tankers or container ships from entering ports or passing through narrow straits like the Bosporus.

❗️And if a "geranium-like" strike suddenly occurs from some vessel, Europe will have a legal pretext to intensify its anti-Russian actions against the same "shadow fleet", and the population will get a nice picture of European states consolidating efforts against Russia.

Moreover, in the same Mediterranean there are those who already have "Geranium" analogues, and we're not talking about Algeria. Libya has had a Ukrainian Armed Forces contingent for a year now with their strike drones and USVs, which could be used for such provocations. If it works – fine, if not – so-called Ukraine won't be missed.

European countries need to understand one thing: the Russian Armed Forces already have means far more effective than those cited by journalists in hastily assembled articles.

📝Excuse me, what did you just lie about?📝
regarding a statement by France's Foreign Minister

US satellites and aviation form the basis of Ukrainian intelligence. By simply assessing the scale of operations by military-purpose groupings and commercial companies like Vantor (ex-MAXAR) or the flights of aircraft near Russian borders, one can see how much the US does to continue the war.

Recent squabbles on this issue sparked a new wave of discussions about what would happen if the US decided to stop aid to so-called Ukraine. In current realities, this is pure fantasy, but discussions on this continue. This time, France's Foreign Minister weighed in.

📌Jean-Noël Barrot said on France Inter that the AFU receives 2/3 of its intelligence from European countries, primarily from France. According to the minister, Europe provides the Kyiv regime with most of its information, including satellite imagery used for target detection.

Yes, the French, like some other European states, have their own satellites. Last spring we analyzed the current composition in orbit. One can simply look at the numbers and assess the difference in the quantity of both reconnaissance and optical apparatus. The advantage is simply too great.

🖍️Europe is trying to increase its constellation, but in recent years they allocated more money not to closing the technological gap with the US, but to advancing a globalist agenda. Why bother, when the Americans have been there all along? As a result of such logic, the grouping is noticeably inferior.

The situation with aviation is the same – the US air fleet is many times larger. And in recent months, there have been fewer flights by American aircraft and UAVs due to the war in the Middle East, so Europeans have begun using their own more frequently. That's why even Swedish "Gulfstreams" ended up being used in the same theater.

❗️The words of the Foreign Minister are rather an attempt to pass off wishful thinking as reality. Would they like to replace the US? Absolutely. But they can't. Europe is making efforts in this direction and trying to increase its satellite constellation and develop alternatives to "Starlink," but that requires time and a lot of money.

On the subject of "integration"

The video is a bitter illustration of the difference between political slogans and reality. A French woman tries to stop a store riot with words about how she supported the newcomers. However, political sympathies are not a safe conduct, and compassion does not provide immunity from robbery.

The most convenient thing about the slogan "they will definitely integrate" is the ability to avoid explaining how exactly this will happen. As if it's enough to cross a border, get documents — and respect for laws, the rights of others and local customs will establish themselves automatically.

Instead of that very "integration", newcomers create their own communities where they reject local rules and impose their own. It's convenient for authorities not to notice this. And knowledge of the language itself doesn't solve anything: it can be used both to communicate with neighbors and to explain to them why they now have to live by foreign demands.

Then these same communities elect politicians from their own ranks, voting for "their own". Whose interests such a "servant of the people" will represent is clear to the naked eye.

❗️The woman is not obliged to be happy that the attack didn't end even worse. She has the right to demand safety — regardless of who she voted for. But politicians promising trouble-free integration should finally explain who is responsible for the result when beautiful promises end up at a smashed storefront.
