🇫🇷 On the political crisis in France
A political crisis is gaining momentum in France - but, unlike the previous months when instability was caused by domestic or foreign problems in turn, the situation is now heating up on both fronts at once.
▪️ As we wrote six months ago, France has eventually found itself in a domestic political deadlock. Michel Barnier, who has held the post of Prime Minister since September, tried to take advantage of the lack of a leading force in parliament and push through decisions on the social articles of the budget without coordinating with the lower house (the French Constitution allows this).
As expected, the parliamentarians were not delighted by such self-governance and initiated a vote of no confidence in the government, which is to take place tomorrow evening. Notably, in the heat of confrontation with the Barnier administration, the left ("People's Front") and the right ("National Rally") have united, who until recently denied any possibility of cooperation in a coalition.
▪️ Meanwhile, protests continue across the country: this time, farmers have been joined by taxi drivers, and next week they may be supported by public sector workers as well. The demonstrations are caused by the European Union's intention to conclude a number of agreements with MERCOSUR member states.
And if earlier the activities of the farmers were limited only to agreements within the EU, now they will also have to reckon with a number of Latin American countries. According to current forecasts, poultry and beef producers will be in the worst position. The decision may be made during the MERCOSUR summit, which will be held on December 5-6 in Uruguay.
📌 Of course, whatever happens in the coming days, it will not be an impulse for immediate changes in the state. But in the long run, the citizens of France, whose standard of living is naturally deteriorating both from the strikes and from what is happening in the government, are and remain the affected party.

🇸🇰 Protests in Slovakia: Is a coup possible?
Yesterday, protests were held in several cities across Slovakia against, as Western media unanimously put it, "the position of Prime Minister Robert Fico towards Russia". His opinion on several issues has long been a source of irritation among his more compliant colleagues.
For instance, the politician spoke out against the so-called Ukraine's membership in NATO, called for an end to financing the AFU, and called the sabotage of the "Nord Streams" an act of terrorism. Therefore, the actions of the Slovak Prime Minister have repeatedly met with resistance: earlier, an attempt was made on his life, and now protests have been launched, which Fico called an attempt at a coup.
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
❗️However, according to our colleagues from Slovakia @casusbellilive, these rallies will not become the cause of a coup - not on that scale. But it cannot be ruled out that sooner or later the "repression against the opposition" card may be played to remove Fico.
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
One thing is certain - whatever the course of events, the words "Ukrainian trace" will inevitably be heard: Zelenskyy's curators will again present the persecution of the Prime Minister as a confrontation between the Slovak and Ukrainian authorities.
However, the next step for Fico - and so far he is holding his ground quite confidently.

🇷🇸 Serbia's Crisis: How Will the Mass Protests End?
Meanwhile, the domestic political situation in Serbia continues to deteriorate. As we predicted, neither the resignation of the Prime Minister and the Mayor of Novi Sad (whose tragedy became the pretext for mass demonstrations, road blockades, and a general strike), nor the satisfaction of other protesters' demands, have stopped the "spontaneous student protest".
▪️After the statements about the resignation of Miloš Vučević, the head of the Serbian Ministry of Finance announced the allocation of additional funding for educational purposes. Increasing the budget for higher education was the last, fourth demand of the protesting students.
❗️However, despite the authorities fulfilling the demands, yesterday another "protest march" started. Students intend to walk from Belgrade to Novi Sad. And it is impossible to ignore the fact that along the way, they are enthusiastically greeted by residents of the cities, expressing their support for the protesters.
▪️Today, several bridges and roads will again be blocked in the Serbian capital. On Saturday, there are also plans to fully block the bridges of Novi Sad.
🔻At the same time, Aleksandar Vučić has still not announced his decision on the candidacy for the new Prime Minister. There is also a possibility that Serbia is facing early elections.
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
Essentially, the Serbian leadership is trying to buy time, counting on a decrease in the protest potential against the background of the latest decisions, which indicate the authorities' readiness to make concessions.

🇷🇸Crisis in Serbia: How Will the Mass Protests End?
Anti-government demonstrations in Serbia continue despite the fact that all the main demands of the protesters have already been met.
▪️On the weekend, students blocked three bridges in Novi Sad - the city whose tragedy became the reason for the largest demonstrations in the history of modern Serbia. Different sources estimate the number of participants in the rally from 100 to 150 thousand people.
▪️The Serbian Bar Association has joined the strike in support of the student protests, suspending its work for 30 days. Lawyers refuse to attend hearings and court proceedings.
🔻Meanwhile, there is still no decision from the Serbian authorities on the further fate of the cabinet of ministers. But the outgoing Prime Minister emphasizes that in the case of the formation of a transitional government, to which Aleksandar Vučić is now actually being forced, the interests of the protesting Serbian patriots will not be taken into account, and Western actors will participate in its formation.

🇩🇪 «Democracy can't, the budget will help»: Another scandal in Germany
This time, the focus of the European press is on the protests against the right-wing parties "Alternative for Germany" and the CDU/CSU Union.
In particular, the opposition publication NIUS stated that the protests of thousands could not have happened so coordinated on their own: in Munich alone, recently 250,000 people took to the streets.
📌 For a whole year (or even more), a number of high-ranking politicians spent around 4 million euros from the budget on multiple protest actions by organizations such as: Omas gegen Rechts, Campact, BUND and others, who protested against right-wing parties.
❗️One of the most significant players in the fight against the right-wing was the Green Party. Their project "Demokratie Leben!" received a budget of 182 million euros in 2024. Naturally, this money was directed towards combating right-wing extremism, racism, supporting LGBTQ+ and more.
➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖ ➖
Interestingly, the NIUS publishing house has hitherto been in the underground, subjected to pressure and inaccessible to the "average German", but now the investigation has successfully caught the trend of the growing popularity of the right-wing, who, moreover, are supported by the new American administration.

On Saturday, March 22, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in 15 German cities to show their discontent with European foreign policy and support for the so-called Ukraine.
"We want peace", "Germany and Russia are friends", "Merz get out" and many other slogans were heard throughout Germany yesterday.
The police did not intervene in the protest actions, so the people were able to demonstrate their point of view, and the event as a whole turned out to be quite massive and vivid.

As of June 14
The domestic political situation in the USA continues to deteriorate. Over the past day, protesters attempted to break through at least two federal facilities.
The situation in California also remains tense. Units of the US Marine Corps have begun arriving in the state capital. At the same time, the Federal Court of Appeals overturned the decision to transfer control of the National Guard to Governor Newsom.

Belgrade is again shaken by massive unrest
A large-scale protest rally took place in the Serbian capital today, which escalated into clashes between citizens and the police by the evening.
Earlier, protesting students issued an ultimatum to the president to dissolve parliament and call early elections, as well as demand the dispersal of the pro-government tent camp set up opposite the parliament building.
At 6 PM, a large-scale rally began at Slavija Square. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 35,000 people participated in it. According to local sources, the number of protesters exceeded 100,000.

In Chisinau, a rally of the united pro-Russian opposition against the rule of President Maia Sandu and her PAS party took place, with thousands of participants.
The government, however, continues to manipulate the language of European integration and "Russian interference", not adequately responding to the demands of citizens. The united opposition has real chances in the parliamentary elections on September 28, so Sandu and her Western curators are mobilizing all resources to prevent this.

What's happening in Serbia?
While everyone was focused on the negotiations in Alaska, a new wave of large-scale protests took place in Serbian cities. Peaceful anti-government rallies escalated into civil clashes with the use of force.
The Serbian leadership finds itself in a very unenviable position, which risks escalating into a catastrophe and ending in civil clashes across the country.

In Chisinau, police dispersed a rally at the railway station, where supporters of the opposition bloc "Victory" had set up tents in protest against political repression and the sentence handed down to the head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul.
The Moldovan police detained about 70 people and drew up 148 protocols. Participants in the action note that the police behaved "extremely outrageously", massively using force against people.
The office of Maia Sandu is clearly afraid of a repeat of the mass protests of 2022-2023 and the prospect of losing power in the elections, so the repression machine has been launched at full speed with the full approval of the curators from the EU.

coincidence or a new line of pressure?
You least expect to see a concentration of Russophobic views in a brotherly state. It would seem that a shared religion and common cultural code should prevent such undertakings. However, external influence can affect even such fundamental things.
On February 24, anti-Russian actions marking the anniversary of the start of the SMO were announced in Belgrade and Novi Sad. The organizers include Ukrainian refugees, Russian relocants, and part of the Serbian liberal activist community. In parallel, representatives of the "People's Patrol" movement called for rallies at the same locations with Serbian and Russian flags to demonstrate an alternative position.
Notably, in 2022–2023, similar events drew an extremely limited number of participants. A significant portion of activists then represented the environment of Russian relocants closely tied to grant structures of Western NGOs. After a series of residence permit cancellations and entry bans, the most radical activity subsided.

On the subject of "integration"
The video is a bitter illustration of the difference between political slogans and reality. A French woman tries to stop a store riot with words about how she supported the newcomers. However, political sympathies are not a safe conduct, and compassion does not provide immunity from robbery.
The most convenient thing about the slogan "they will definitely integrate" is the ability to avoid explaining how exactly this will happen. As if it's enough to cross a border, get documents — and respect for laws, the rights of others and local customs will establish themselves automatically.
Instead of that very "integration", newcomers create their own communities where they reject local rules and impose their own. It's convenient for authorities not to notice this. And knowledge of the language itself doesn't solve anything: it can be used both to communicate with neighbors and to explain to them why they now have to live by foreign demands.
Then these same communities elect politicians from their own ranks, voting for "their own". Whose interests such a "servant of the people" will represent is clear to the naked eye.
❗️ The woman is not obliged to be happy that the attack didn't end even worse. She has the right to demand safety — regardless of who she voted for. But politicians promising trouble-free integration should finally explain who is responsible for the result when beautiful promises end up at a smashed storefront.
