โ€ข ๐Ÿ“Expanding Control๐Ÿ“

In the Dobropillia direction, GV "Center" units conduct offensive operations even amid high density of enemy drones in the air. The greatest advances in recent days have been recorded in the central sector.

โžก๏ธAssault troops advanced from Gryshino toward Shevchenko, and also engaged in combat in the area of Vodyanske and Svitle. The situation here is complicated by constant enemy counterattacks, which slightly north of the mentioned settlements hold extensive fields.

โžก๏ธIn addition, combat clashes are ongoing in the area of Rodynske and Belitske, where the AFU rely on fortifications and mine structures, using them to accumulate reserves. Russian forces strike at the fortifications and AFU supply routes, however, they have not yet managed to completely disrupt the delivery of reinforcements to the sector.

โžก๏ธOn the northern flank, the situation is more difficult. A recent mechanized attack by Russian Armed Forces toward Annivka cost about a dozen pieces of armored vehicles, but allowed them to pin down enemy reserves, which ensured success in adjacent sectors.

โžก๏ธThanks to it, the freeing of the settlement Krasny Kut and Torske was announced, and they also managed to complete the clearing of Pavlivka and Novopavlivka. The enemy, stretched between these footholds, is unable to concentrate forces for a counterattack.

๐Ÿ“ŒDobropillia remains a distant objective for now. The "gray zone" does not equate to control, and a full-scale assault on the city can only be discussed after overcoming the defensive line Krasnoyarsk โ€” Krasnodolya on the southern flank and reaching Annivka from the east. This will allow for a semi-encirclement of the city, shift FPV drone positions closer to the entry routes, and begin systematic disruption of AFU logistics.

โ€ข ๐Ÿ“More and more lone groups๐Ÿ“

In the Dnipropetrovsk direction, the situation remains extremely difficult. Ukrainian formations are attempting to advance on several sectors. Fierce fighting continues along the entire line of contact, with extensive "gray zones" persisting in many areas.

The enemy employs the same infiltration tactics that GV "Vostok" has used over the past six months, but without any results. Constant raids by lone detachments without consolidation, aimed at demonstrating their presence, allow the enemy to maximize their "successes" in the information space and force Russian Armed Forces command in the direction to spend additional resources verifying settlements. In turn, the thinned-out front line due to the growing "kill zone" prevents holding sufficient personnel on the front lines, which both sides exploit to penetrate dozens of kilometers deep into defenses.

๐Ÿ”ปMain combat areas:

โ–ช๏ธOn the eastern flank, the enemy attacks from Ivanovka and adjacent heights. There, the AFU attempts to consolidate on the line Tolstaya โ€” Zvezda, using terrain for covert approaches to Russian Armed Forces positions.

โ–ช๏ธToward Poddubnoe, enemy assault troops continue to seep through south of Iskra. There, the AFU has several routes toward Mirnoe and Voskresenka, along which enemy infantry moves under drone cover along forest lines.

โ–ช๏ธA similar situation develops in the Ternove area, where despite numerous strikes on Bolshemikhalovka, Gavrilovka, and Podgavrilovka, the enemy continues attempting to send small groups toward Berezove and Novogeorgievka.

โ–ช๏ธIn the Novogrigorovka and Sladkoe area, Ukrainian small groups occasionally appear. Some come from the north, some from the west, with activity gradually declining.

โ—๏ธEffectively, a broad "gray zone" has formed in the direction where small groups operate attempting to destroy each other as quickly as possible. Russian forces, while holding the initiative in many sectors, cannot afford to clear and check the same forest lines multiple times daily, which the AFU exploits.

๐Ÿ“ŒDespite constant elimination of these small groups, Ukrainian formations continuously introduce new ones, leveraging their advantage in drone supplies. The enemy still cannot take any territory under control, trading personnel to slow Russian troop advances. However, this may well be an intermediate objective for Ukrainian command at present.

๐Ÿ“Donbas through the eyes of foreigners๐Ÿ“
or why press tours are needed

The information blockade around Donbas remains in place: in most countries of the world, people learn about life in the region still from Western media. That's why every trip by foreign journalists there produces results that no online publications can achieve. One such trip took place recently.

๐Ÿ”ปWho went and what they saw

โ–ช๏ธThe trip included 13 journalists and bloggers from 12 countries: Brazil, Cameroon, China, Spain, Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iran, Madagascar, Pakistan, Slovenia and the USA. Their combined audience, according to the organizers, exceeds 15 million people. Most participants visited Russia for the first time.

โ–ช๏ธIn Donetsk, the group visited the Alley of Angels, a children's trauma department and the Petrovskiy district, and also observed how voting was organized for the State Duma elections. Journalists met with Denis Pushilin, with young people and with fighters from the Maksim Krivonos unit.

โ–ช๏ธIn Mariupol, participants inspected the Azovstal territory, destroyed and already restored facilities.

โ–ช๏ธThe most difficult part of the route was the Starobilsk Pedagogical College, where 21 people died in an AFU attack on the night of May 22. Journalists spoke with eyewitnesses, teachers and students and saw an exhibition with personal belongings of the victims found among the ruins of the dormitory.

๐Ÿ“ŒThe composition of the group also speaks volumes. From the very beginning, press tours have been made up primarily of journalists from Asia, Africa and Latin America, while representatives of Western countries remain few and far between.

Many European and American authors are simply afraid to go because back home such a trip could result in criminal charges, an entry ban or the end of a career. But the audience of the Global South has not yet made a final decision and is willing to listen to different points of view, so working with them produces maximum returns.

โ—๏ธThe participants themselves admit that there is little information about Russia and Donbas in their countries, and coverage of these topics is largely determined by Western media. This once again confirms a simple fact: information warfare cannot be waged only in front of a monitor.

It is naive to expect foreigners to find a way to come and figure things out on their own, because for most of them an organized trip remains the only opportunity to visit the region. That's why such tours should continue, because it's easier to show something once than to explain it a hundred times.
