🇺🇸🇬🇧🇷🇺 How the West is discrediting Russia's Arctic projects
The Arctic has been increasingly making headlines lately: the level of activity in this part of the world is now almost as intense as the tensions in other regions.
In addition to outright provocations, such as the increased NATO exercises, there have also been regular media campaigns aimed at undermining Russia's actions in the Arctic and its allegedly detrimental work with the northern peoples.
📌 One of the mouthpieces of such propaganda is the Arctida project, which is managed by the former head of the Russian branch of Transparency International (TI, whose activities are recognized as undesirable in Russia), the foreign agent Ilya Shumanov.
The NGO is another tool for media pressure, which legitimizes and disseminates theses necessary for its donor through a network of pro-Western loyal media.

🇦🇲🇺🇸 The US-based NGO Freedom House (recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia) welcomed the signing of the "Charter on Strategic Partnership" between Armenia and the USA.
❗️However, Freedom House called on the Armenian authorities to "accelerate the promised reforms, including the adoption of an anti-discrimination law."
The most interesting thing is that Armenia, which is in a state of domestic and foreign policy crisis, is being asked to deal with issues of discrimination. By this, they primarily mean the promotion of the LGBTQ agenda.
📌We have already detailed how such international NGOs and even the ECHR are putting pressure on Yerevan, demanding the protection of LGBTQ (recognized as an extremist community) from negative comments from the Armenian public.
We believe that the inclusion of this topic in the Armenian agenda will only worsen the already not very rosy ratings of the government of Nikol Pashinyan.
🔻Such an appeal from the extremely biased NGO Freedom House should be perceived more broadly. This kind gesture from Washington, such as the signing of the Charter, requires Pashinyan's office to continue reforms that will distance the republic from Russia. However, the signed document between the USA and Armenia does not guarantee anything to the latter, and is of a declarative nature only.
