🚀The Future Is Just Around the Corner!

Coinbase is calling on U.S. federal banking regulators to create standardized rules for crypto services in the banking industry. The company has submitted an official request to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), urging them to update current policies.

Under Coinbase’s proposal, banks would be allowed to provide custody and execution (C&E) services for cryptocurrencies either directly or via third-party providers like Coinbase. The exchange insists that regulatory barriers hindering legally compliant crypto companies from partnering with banks must be removed.

Coinbase, leveraging its close ties with the Trump administration, aims to position itself as the “Fed” of the crypto world. After all, traditional banks lack the necessary infrastructure and experience to service crypto accounts, so they’ll naturally turn to Coinbase for custodial tools once they receive regulatory clearance.

According to this vision, the future financial system is already taking shape in Thiel and Musk’s technocratic “Technat.” Meanwhile, President Trump has reportedly issued an ultimatum to CIA and FBI staff: accept severance equal to eight months’ salary and resign voluntarily, or be terminated without compensation. He plans to disband both agencies entirely, then restaff them with loyalists. Since the FBI is seen as the main security service for the Federal Reserve, the big question is who’s next on Trump’s list of eliminations.

It seems likely the Fed itself may face a similar shakeup soon. By then, a “crypto-Fed” in the form of Coinbase—complete with its own SWIFT-like system powered by XRP—will be ready to step in. These “fantastic” conspiracy theories appear to be unfolding faster than ever… especially with the self-proclaimed “Emperor of Mars” at the helm.

📰 Federal Agencies Drown Americans With Unreleased Regulatory ‘Guidance’

While the federal government issued fewer new rules in 2025 than any year since the 1970s, the regulatory state has simply shifted its tactics. Instead of formal rules, agencies increasingly rely on “guidance” documents—memorandums, notices, bulletins, and even blog posts—that carry the weight of policy but often fly under the radar of public scrutiny.

The Rise of Regulatory ‘Dark Matter’
Agencies have found that issuing guidance is easier than going through the formal rulemaking process, which requires public notice, comment periods, and legal review. The result is a growing body of regulatory “dark matter”—documents that shape policy but aren’t always published in a single, accessible place.

The Good Act: Transparency or Window Dressing?
A bill called the Guidance Out Of Darkness Act (Good Act) passed the House in 2025 and would require agencies to compile all guidance documents in one public repository. While some guidance is already public, the Good Act would ensure that Americans can find everything in one place, much like laws are compiled in the U.S. Code and rules in the Code of Federal Regulations.

Who Controls the Rules?
As agencies regulate more through guidance than formal rules, the need for transparency grows. But will the Good Act actually make a difference, or will agencies just find new ways to operate in the shadows?

Trump’s AI Push Is Running Into His Own Voters

The POLITICO poll shows a simple problem for the White House: Trump wants deregulation, but most of his voters do not want AI left entirely to the market. About three quarters of Trump voters want some form of government oversight, and only 13 percent say Washington should stay out of it.

That is a political warning, not just a policy detail. The administration is trying to sell AI as a race against China, but Trump voters are also thinking about job losses, labor disruption, and whether the technology will actually make their lives worse.

The split inside the GOP is the real story. MAGA voters are more willing to prioritize speed and competition, while non-MAGA Trump voters are more likely to prioritize safety and regulation, even if that means China advances faster.

So the White House is facing the usual Trump-era contradiction. It wants to sound pro-business and anti-red tape, but its own base is saying: not this time, not if the market is allowed to invent the damage first and the government is allowed to clean it up later.

The AI fight is no longer just about technology. It is about whether Trump can keep the GOP sold on deregulation when the party’s voters are already reading the warning label.
