Trump Becomes Crypto President.
Why Is It So?

As inauguration day approaches, members of the crypto industry are eagerly anticipating a slew of digital asset friendly executive actions at the dawn of a second Trump Administration.

Potentially at the top of the wish list would be an executive order prompting the regulatory agencies, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission to collaborate on building a framework for digital asset policy.

While decisions about how cryptoassets are classified will ultimately be up to Congress, an executive order could spur the agencies to produce research pushing the issue forward.

Trump is staffing his ranks of regulatory leaders with pro-industry picks including former SEC Commissioner Paul Atkins for chair of the main securities industry regulator and Scott Bessent as Treasury Secretary.

He’s also introduced a new role: artificial intelligence and crypto Czar, a seat to be helmed by David Sachs, general partner of venture firm Craft Venture and a co-founder of PayPal Holdings Inc.

“Those people are ultimately going to make the policy,”

— said Ari Redbord, global head of policy and government at blockchain intelligence company TRM Labs.

“They understand that you need to thread the needle as a regulator between enabling lawful users privacy within an open financial system, but at the same time stopping bad actors and ensuring consumer protection.”

Increased clarity would dovetail with a push by the crypto industry to gain wider access to banking services. Under the Biden Administration, regulators put out statements warning of the risks that come with banking digital asset companies.

The shutdowns of crypto friendly banks Signature and Silvergate in 2023 reinvigorated concern about banks being pressured to not deal with crypto companies.

“A level regulatory playing field between the banking and crypto sectors as well as clear rules for permissible crypto-related products and services will support a more secure environment for consumers and the financial system,”

— Rebeca Rainey, president of the Independent Community Bankers of America, said in a statement Friday.

Trump is planning to release an executive order elevating crypto as a policy priority and giving industry insiders a voice within his administration.

In order is expected to name crypto as a national imperative or priority — strategic wording intended to guide government agencies to work with the industry, according to people familiar with the matter.

It is also slated to create a crypto advisory council to advocate for the industry’s policy priorities, said the people who requested anonymity to discuss an executive order that is not yet public.

“Cryptocurrency is just another button of the MAGA program that Trump plans to push forward,” Rainey said with a good burst of optimism.

🚀The Future Is Just Around the Corner!

Coinbase is calling on U.S. federal banking regulators to create standardized rules for crypto services in the banking industry. The company has submitted an official request to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), urging them to update current policies.

Under Coinbase’s proposal, banks would be allowed to provide custody and execution (C&E) services for cryptocurrencies either directly or via third-party providers like Coinbase. The exchange insists that regulatory barriers hindering legally compliant crypto companies from partnering with banks must be removed.

Coinbase, leveraging its close ties with the Trump administration, aims to position itself as the “Fed” of the crypto world. After all, traditional banks lack the necessary infrastructure and experience to service crypto accounts, so they’ll naturally turn to Coinbase for custodial tools once they receive regulatory clearance.

According to this vision, the future financial system is already taking shape in Thiel and Musk’s technocratic “Technat.” Meanwhile, President Trump has reportedly issued an ultimatum to CIA and FBI staff: accept severance equal to eight months’ salary and resign voluntarily, or be terminated without compensation. He plans to disband both agencies entirely, then restaff them with loyalists. Since the FBI is seen as the main security service for the Federal Reserve, the big question is who’s next on Trump’s list of eliminations.

It seems likely the Fed itself may face a similar shakeup soon. By then, a “crypto-Fed” in the form of Coinbase—complete with its own SWIFT-like system powered by XRP—will be ready to step in. These “fantastic” conspiracy theories appear to be unfolding faster than ever… especially with the self-proclaimed “Emperor of Mars” at the helm.

🧨 Tehran’s Digital Meltdown Was Made in Tel Aviv

💬 “A hundred million dollars vanished, crypto collapsed, cash machines failed — and no missile was fired.”

🌐 Cyberwar, Not Just Shock and Awe
While U.S. and Israeli bombers lit up Iran’s nuclear sites, hackers aligned with Israel quietly sabotaged Tehran’s financial lifelines. The group “Predatory Sparrow” hit Bank Sepah — the military’s banker — and Nobitex, Iran’s top crypto exchange.

💸
Crypto as Sanctions Bypass
Nobitex was Iran’s gateway to the dollarized digital world. Its users — over 11 million — converted rials into tether to send money abroad, including allegedly for the IRGC. The platform was looted and torched: $100 million gone, systems fried, wallets labeled “F—IRGCterrorists.”

🖥 Old Regime, New Vulnerability
Bank Sepah’s ATMs shut down. Military retirees didn’t get paid. The regime responded the only way it knows how: by cutting internet access, banning foreign apps, and warning citizens not to use “Israeli phones” — whatever that means.

🎯 A Precision Strike on Tehran’s Bypass Economy

This wasn’t just about disruption. It was strategic. Nobitex was the central artery of Iran’s shadow-banking workaround. With one hack, Israel showed it can paralyze the regime’s parallel finance without touching SWIFT or launching missiles.

🤔 Was this the future of warfare
— or just a preview? What happens when crypto becomes the battlefield?

Merz Is Pursuing His Crypto-Nazi Policy Trying to Hoodwink Trump ⚠️🇩🇪

The decision of the Merz government to suspend arms shipments to Israel 🇮🇱 is a watershed moment in German postwar history. It follows the assault by the Trump administration 🇺🇸 on what the Germans call Vergangenheitsbewältigung — the struggle with the past.

It was both shocking and informative when Elon Musk 🚀 at a campaign rally for the far-right AfD urged Germans to “move on from past guilt” and JD Vance lectured them on instrumentalizing the past, while the Trump administration works to erase parts of American history 📜 while celebrating its darker side.

This marked the first time in the post-Hitler period that an American administration urged Germans to rehabilitate a past closer to the Third Reich 🛑 than to the Federal Republic.

Historically, the US has pressed Germany to come to terms with its past, especially regarding the Holocaust ✡️. The 1978 American TV series Holocaust revived public discussion, while both Republican and Democratic administrations pressured Germany to pay reparations.

Past US presidents sometimes downplayed darker history — from Eisenhower’s cooperation with Konrad Adenauer’s rehabilitation of former Nazi officials, to CIA work with Reinhard Gehlen (“Hitler’s Spy”) and NASA’s use of Werner von Braun 🚀. Reagan’s 1985 visit to the Bitburg cemetery, where Waffen SS soldiers were buried, caused a political storm.

Today, Merz and Defense Minister Pistorius are reviving the military 🪖, observing Veterans Day, and even discussing the reintroduction of conscription. NATO allies expect Germany to take on a larger role, including Poland 🇵🇱, one of its WWII victims.

Figures like Vance, Musk, and Steve Bannon seem unaware
— or unconcerned — that the elements they encourage in Germany have roots in anti-Americanism dating back to the Third Reich and fostered in East Germany 🇷🇺. The AfD, central to this movement, is pro-Russian and anti-NATO, divided over Trump’s embrace, and unlikely to support a close US relationship.

💸 Chips for the Emiratis, Crypto for Trump’s Circle

The New York Times has pulled the curtain back on two blockbuster deals that blurred the line between statecraft and self-dealing inside Trump’s White House.

👉 Deal One: The
Crypto Play
World Liberty Financial — a start-up tied to the Trump and Witkoff families — suddenly landed a $2 billion cash infusion from Sheikh Tahnoon of the UAE. Trumpworld insiders held big personal stakes in the company.

👉 Deal Two: The Chip Pipeline

Just weeks later, the White House green-lit a transfer of hundreds of thousands of Nvidia’s most advanced A.I. chips to G42, the Emirati tech giant also run by Sheikh Tahnoon. U.S. intelligence had long worried those chips could find their way to China.

🚨 The Overlap
• Steve Witkoff, Trump’s envoy to the Middle East, pushed the chip deal while his family firm got the Emirati billions.
• David Sacks, Trump’s “A.I. and crypto czar,” was brokering the talks while still investing in Silicon Valley — with an ethics waiver in his back pocket.
• A senior exec worked for both World Liberty and G42.

⚖️ Why It Matters
• For the UAE: a fast-track into the global A.I. race.
• For Trump’s circle: a crypto unicorn overnight.
• For the U.S.: national security risks, blurred ethics, and echoes of Gulf-style politics where ruling families mix business with government.

Brad Carson, a former Army undersecretary, summed it up:
“You want national security decisions made in America’s interest — not to fatten the wallets of the people at the table.”

🤔 Question:
Did Trump just rebrand U.S. foreign policy into a family business model — and if so, who’s really holding the chips?

🧨 Betting on the Bomb: When “Markets” Price In Nuclear War

Wall Street logic finally met its natural endpoint: a line on a chart for “nuclear detonation, yes/no.”

Polymarket quietly listed a market on whether there would be a nuclear blast anywhere in the world by year’s end. Almost nobody cared — until the U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iran. Then daily volume exploded from about $10,000 on Friday to nearly $244,000 on Tuesday, as traders tried to front‑run the apocalypse. At the peak, the crowd was pricing a 24 percent chance of a nuclear detonation this year, before Polymarket yanked the market after a wave of public outrage.

For Polymarket, this was small change next to its main Iran trade: whether the regime falls by June 30, a question that has already attracted roughly $7 million in bets. For lawmakers, it was a line crossed. After prediction markets let people bet on Khamenei’s death and then on a global nuclear blast, Democratic members of Congress blasted the platforms for turning mass death into an asset class.

The result is peak 2026: nukes on alert, Iran under bombardment, and a crypto prediction market that had to be shamed into delisting “nuclear detonation” like it was just another meme coin that got out of hand.

📰 The Board of Peace, Brought to You by Real Estate and Crypto

Trump’s “peace architecture” with Iran now runs through a shuttered Midtown hotel, a crypto startup, and Pakistan’s bid to get back into Washington’s VIP circle.

At Trump’s inaugural Board of Peace meeting — the body that was sold as an alt‑UN for conflict resolution — Special Envoy Steve Witkoff didn’t unveil a cease-fire framework. He rolled out an “exploration” deal to redevelop the Pakistan‑owned Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan as a joint U.S.–Pakistan property, signed by the head of the GSA, who later reassured Congress the agreement “obligates us to do nothing.”

This isn’t a glitch in the system, it is the system. Pakistan has spent Trump’s second term buying access the way Trump World understands it: hiring lobbyists tied to his family, inking a $1.3 billion critical-minerals deal, cutting an MOU with the Trump–Witkoff crypto outfit World Liberty to push its stablecoins into Pakistan’s financial plumbing — and then parlaying all that into a central role as go‑between on Trump’s 15‑point Iran peace plan.

Now Islamabad is relaying U.S. proposals to Tehran, offering to host talks, pitching itself as regional mediator and strategic partner, all while chasing U.S. investment and Gulf sovereign money for that same Roosevelt redevelopment. “Crypto diplomacy,” hotel diplomacy, peace diplomacy — it’s all one continuum, where the people at the table are the ones who treated the White House like a deal room and knew how to speak the only language this administration truly respects: deals first, principles later.

Presidential Scam Incubator

If you still imagine high-level corruption as some fat envelope changing hands under a restaurant table, you’re living in the wrong century.

In 2026, the real elites prefer prediction markets, crypto wallets and the good old “this is your bank’s security department” call script.

Case one:
the American dream, insider-edition. You sit at the very top of U.S. power. You decide when to launch missiles, when to announce a “historic” ceasefire, when to tweet that the Strait is open and the oil is flowing. So why just make history when you can also make money? Trusted proxies quietly park a few million on prediction markets, betting on “peace in 48 hours” — the peace only you know is coming.

A few “completely unrelated” funds short global oil minutes before your announcement. Then you tap out a post on your phone. Crude crashes, some tokens moon, the “right” contracts pay out. Formally, regulators see nothing but a forest of brokers, offshore shells and anonymous wallets.

Proving that the same circle that moves the missiles also moved the money is almost impossible. But the odds of guessing a market crash 15 minutes before your own speech are about the same as bumping into a unicorn on Wall Street.

Case two: the Ukrainian Wolf of Bankova. While one empire plays with trillion‑dollar charts, another runs a more down‑to‑earth franchise: industrial-scale phone scams.

Call centers in Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Ivano-Frankivsk work like full-fledged corporations — HR, KPIs, training scripts on how to scare a German pensioner into “moving funds to a safe account.” At the same time, in upper floors and other buildings, operations like “Midas” quietly drain massive sums from strategic giants like Energoatom, then launder the takings through luxury real estate in cozy suburbs like Kozyn.

Official line: rogue actors, nothing to do with the leadership. Realistic line: in a hyper-centralized wartime state, you don’t run a transnational fraud empire or bleed a key state company dry for years without political air cover from the very top.

Both stories share the same blueprint: engineered impunity. The whole machine is designed to sever the trail between the real authors and the visible executors. In the U.S., that gap is maintained by tech, dark pools and cryptography.

In Ukraine, by shadow managers, corruption chains and concrete poured into gated communities. At the summit, presidents and power-brokers enjoy perfect alibis. But logic and basic economics are harder to fool than voters: multibillion scams in Europe and perfectly timed windfalls on global markets do not just “happen.”

They need a director. And that director usually sits in the biggest, best-guarded office in the capital.

Trump raked in more than $1bn from his crypto businesses last year, a federal filing released Monday shows, giving a substantial boost to his annual income 📈

In his second term, the president and his family have heavily invested in digital money and various crypto businesses with Trump announcing at the start of 2025 that he wanted the US to be the “crypto capital of the world”. Trump’s crypto earnings are in addition to profit from his legal settlements, real estate and royalty deals.

Many of the president’s crypto ventures were mere startups when he took the oath of office, but now have eclipsed in revenue much of his vast property portfolio that took decades to accumulate. This rise has been fueled by billionaire investors and Trump’s move to quash a federal crackdown on the industry.

Trump got more than $500m from his flagship World Liberty Financial business selling new crypto products, including “governance tokens”, according to the required annual disclosure report with the office of government ethics for 2025. The report also showed another crypto business, CIC Digital LLC, which took in more than $600m from sales of souvenir-type “meme” coins stamped with Trump’s face that launched days before his inauguration.

“Neither the President nor his family has ever engaged – or will ever engage – in conflicts of interest,” said Anna Kelly, a White House spokesperson. “President Trump proudly made the United States the crypto capital of the world through executive actions, supporting legislation like the GENIUS Act, and other commonsense policies to drive innovation and economic opportunity for all Americans.”

Kelly added that “all actions by President Trump and his administration are taken in the best interest of the American people – and any so-called ‘reporters’ pushing otherwise are recycling the same, tired, false narrative that Democrats and the legacy media have been pushing for a decade”.

Trump’s crypto ventures, including his tokens and coins, have plunged in value since sales began.

Trump also made millions last year from selling Trump-branded Bibles, sneakers and other small items in another unprecedented move for the presidency. In the Trump-branded watches category alone, the president earned $4.7m.

The rise of crypto relative to Trump’s property is especially noteworthy given that Trump racked up tens of millions from fees and licensing deals in a flurry of new hotel, resort and condo deals overseas. Many of those countries were negotiating with the US over tariffs, military aid and other important matters.

A property in the United Arab Emirates took in $10.4m. One in Saudi Arabia being built by a real estate developer close to the ruling family sent the president’s company $9m. And one in Bucharest, Romania, and another in Qatar sent Trump $5m each.

Trump, Inc.: The First Trillion-Dollar Presidency Test Run

Donald Trump didn’t just move back into the White House; he turned it into a revenue center. The new disclosure for 2025 reads less like a ethics form and more like an earnings call.

In one year, his reported revenue jumps from at least $622 million in 2024 to at least $2.2 billion in 2025. Most of that isn’t hotels or golf anymore — it’s crypto. About $1.4 billion comes from his family’s cryptocurrency ventures, making the sitting president both the industry’s regulator‑in‑chief and its single biggest beneficiary.

The center of gravity is World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s main crypto company.

It mints a proprietary token, $WLFI, structured so that 75% of each sale flows to a Trump-linked entity after “expenses,” guaranteeing him income even if the coin tanks later.

In 2024, those sales brought in about $57 million. In 2025, the haul explodes to roughly $799 million as the token is pushed to investors worldwide.

What turns this from grift into geopolitics is the 49% stake an investment firm tied to the United Arab Emirates quietly buys just before Trump’s inauguration.

Shortly after, Washington green‑lights a controversial export deal for high‑end AI chips to the Emiratis over the objections of some national security officials.

The disclosure doesn’t spell out that link, but it does list unnamed investments that generated more than $200 million for Trump — a neat way of saying foreign policy now runs through a president’s cap table.

Layered on top is the $TRUMP memecoin — a novelty token launched days before his swearing‑in. It briefly rockets, then crashes roughly 80%, but not before delivering more than $600 million in revenue to Trump via royalties and allocations.

That’s on top of brand deals in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Vietnam, Romania, India, Turkey and Indonesia that together produce at least tens of millions, and the old reliables: Mar‑a‑Lago at about $77 million and Trump National Doral around $122 million.

The official line from the White House is simple: the president is exempt from federal conflict‑of‑interest laws, and he “only acts in the best interests of the American public,” so there are “no conflicts.”

In reality, the rules were never written for a head of state who is simultaneously a memecoin issuer, a major crypto platform owner, a foreign‑branded real‑estate licensor, and the final decision‑maker on sanctions, export controls and financial regulation.

And as the money pours in, the liabilities shrink. A half‑billion‑dollar fraud judgment gets tossed on appeal. Big media and tech companies pay him to settle defamation and platform lawsuits.

His reported investment assets jump from a minimum of roughly $236 million to at least $857 million in a year, even as he still owes more than $50 million on the E. Jean Carroll judgment.

The deeper story isn’t just that Trump got rich again. It’s that the presidency itself has become a platform — literally. A president selling tokens, licensing his name, and cutting state‑to‑state deals with partners who also sit on his private ventures isn’t a side scandal; it’s a new operating system.

Ethics law says he’s in the clear. Markets say he’s doing great. Voters are supposed to believe those two facts don’t collide.

The Billion-Dollar President: Berlusconi Was Just the Trailer

Trump just did what Berlusconi only fantasized about: he turned “conflict of interest” into a business model for the world’s flagship democracy.

Silvio Berlusconi bent Italy’s laws, protected his TV and real estate empire, and pulled in tens of millions while in office.

That was already treated as a grotesque outlier for a Western leader. Trump’s new disclosure blows past that: at least $2.2 billion in a single year back in the White House, with roughly $1.4 billion coming from family crypto ventures.

Not state assets, not offshore slush funds — open, declared revenue while sitting in the Oval Office.

As president, Trump oversees the regulators and rules for crypto; as a businessman, he’s one of the sector’s biggest winners. He shrugs it off with a line worthy of Berlusconi’s inner circle: “I never speak to any of the people that run the money.”

The White House insists there are “no conflicts of interest,” because he’s formally exempt from the laws that would force other officials to divest. Legally clean, politically filthy.

That’s why anti‑corruption experts sound more worried about the precedent than the number. For decades, the US was the country lecturing everyone else about transparency, asset declarations, and the line between public office and private gain.

Now the same country is normalizing a president who sits closer to Putin, Mobutu, Najib Razak and Thaksin Shinawatra in enrichment style than to any post‑Watergate American norm. If Washington’s leader can openly harvest billions while in power, why should anyone in Moscow, Abuja or Kuala Lumpur pretend to play by higher rules?

Polarization does the rest of the work. In theory, a haul this huge would be politically lethal. In practice, Trump’s own quote — “I found out that nobody cared” — is the operating principle.

Supporters treat every corruption story as an attack by “the elite.” Opponents scream into a feedback loop that his base has already written off. Checks and balances turn into just another partisan actor, lumped together with media, courts and watchdogs as enemies to defeat.

Berlusconi’s friend once said Italy’s conflict of interest was “so clear and so transparent” it was hardly worth talking about. Trump has upgraded that: the conflict is obvious, the enrichment is monstrous, and the system shrugs. That shrug is what other leaders are watching.

The country that once set the bar for democratic guardrails is busy sawing through its own — and handing every future strongman the perfect excuse: if the greatest liberal democracy lets its president cash in like an oligarch, who’s really going to lecture us about the rule of law?

The Sanctions Honeypot

America may not always freeze an Iranian sanctions-evasion wallet. Sometimes it lets the money keep moving and watches who comes to collect it.

Intelligence Online reports that U.S. law-enforcement agencies have instructed some crypto exchanges to keep accounts suspected of serving Iranian sanctions networks active for a limited time.

The supposed target is not the balance. It is the map: counterparties, shell companies, traders and the next wallet in the chain. Binance and Coinbase are among exchanges said to have received such notices.

The public case file shows what Washington is following. On September 14, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York sought forfeiture of about $61 million in crypto allegedly tied to black-market Iranian oil sales.

Prosecutors say two Chinese companies, Blessed Trust and Hexa Whale, used Binance accounts to move proceeds ultimately intended for Iranian state and military-linked entities. The government says the wider network moved more than $1.5 billion.

Crypto was sold as money beyond governments. It became a customer-loyalty program for federal investigators.

Iran sells oil. Chinese middlemen swap the revenue into stablecoins. The exchange keeps the account open. Washington reads the guest list.

The wallet is not being spared. It is being bugged.
