At least 108 US military flights have either arrived at, or are en route/filed for bases in the Middle East & Diego Garcia, according to @ArmchairAdml

The air defence buildup at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan is likely nearing completion

#USAF United States Air Force - Middle East Activity
4 February 2026 - 2100z

I've now recorded ninety one flights that have either arrived at, or are en route/filed for bases in the Middle East & Diego Garcia. There are a further twelve flights from army airfields with Air Defence units, and five from Roosevelt Roads Naval Air Station. To break it down.

Arrived/En Route/Filed via ACARS: 91
Muwaffaq Salti Air Base: 52
Al Udeid Air Base: 11
Prince Sultan Air Base: 9
Diego Garcia NSF: 9
Ali Al Salem Air Base: 7
Isa Air Base: 3

Pending flights from Army Airfields: 12
Robert Gray Army Airfield: 4
Biggs Army Airfield: 6
Kadena Air Base: 2

Other: 5
Roosevelt Roads NAS: 5

All together, we're now looking at potentially one hundred and eight flights, both C-17 and C-5's, from CONUS and U.S. bases in Japan - via Europe - to the Middle East and Diego Garcia since 15th January. I will include an updated table in the replies for anyone that wishes to verify (or correct) the numbers.

The past day has seen flights primarily from Robert Gray, Biggs, and Roosevelt Roads. The flights from Army Airfields are most likely moving air defence systems like PATRIOT and THAAD, whereas those from Roosevelt Roads are likely support for the Vermont Air National Guard F-35A's being deployed to Jordan.

NOTE: All information is obtained via public sources (ADS-B/ACARS), and this list is by no means exhaustive.

Five C-17's from Roosevelt Roads likely taking equipment for the 158th Fighter Wing's F-35A's to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, where four flights have already arrived.

Additionally, GOLD 83 today flew to Puerto Rico to collect four (thanks @EISNspotter) "VT" F-35A's and take them to Burlington Air National Guard Base. The tanker GOLD 83 joined GOLD 82 at Bangor Air National Guard Base.

They may go via RAF Lakenheath, or Naval Station Rota where the other six "VT"'s are.

13 February - 2300z

The number of U.S. Air Force C-17 and C-5 flights from the U.S. have increased to at least 152, with another three arrivals in Jordan, and one each in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the two E/A-18G Growlers and six "VT" F-35As have finally departed Spain for Jordan.

With reports from Reuters[1] that the U.S. are preparing for "sustained, weeks-long operations against Iran", the 152 number is likely to begin growing significantly and shift from Army Airfields to Air Force Bases, as well as flights supporting U.S. Navy deployments.

More in-progress flights from Army Airfields, interesting now we have a C-5 from Pope Army Airfield that has filed for Ramstein in Germany on a similar mission code to other C-5s involved in the airlift.

Two GOLD tankers departed Moron Air Base today, with at least one of them supporting a flight of two remaining E/A-18s headed for Jordan. It's possible that GOLD 42 actually supported Coronet East 035 given the number of receivers.

Two KC-46's are filed on a round-trip from Moron Air Base in Spain in support of the final two of six E/A-18G Growlers headed to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

GOLD 32 has already departed with, presumably, TABOR 62. GOLD 42 has an ETD of 1141z.
