🔎 Quranic Verse 4:36 — A Wilāyah-Based Interpretation with a Mahdavi Outlook ✨
📖 Surah al-Nisā’ – Verse 36
﴿وَاعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَلا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا...﴾
Translation:
Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and be kind to your parents, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near and distant neighbors, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those under your authority. Verily, Allah does not love the arrogant and boastful.
📚 Narrative & Wilāyah-Based Reflection
1️⃣ “Parents” (الوالدَين) — The Prophet ﷺ and Imam Ali (as)
Imams al-Bāqir and al-Sādiq (peace be upon them) interpreted "parents" in this verse as referring to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Imam Ali (as).
🗣 The Prophet said: “I and Ali are the fathers of this nation.”
In the sermon of Ghadir, the Prophet likened his Wilāyah to the guardianship of a father, making obedience to Imam Ali as obligatory as to one’s own parents.
2️⃣ “Relatives, Orphans, the Needy” — The Ahl al-Bayt (as)
According to Ahl al-Bayt (as), these titles specifically refer to them. Imam al-Bāqir (as) said: “We are the Dhū al-Qurbā, the orphan, and the needy — what belongs to the Prophet belongs to us.”
In deeper interpretation, “orphan” refers to those deprived of Wilāyah, and “needy” to those lacking spiritual nourishment from the Imams.
🌅 Mahdavi Outlook: The Verse and Awaiting the Imam
✅ This verse outlines a deep structure of an Ummah founded on Wilāyah:
1. Pure monotheism starts the verse, rejecting all forms of Shirk, especially in leadership — meaning not associating false authorities with divine Imams.
2. Immediately following Tawhīd is the command to honor the "parents" — referring to the Prophet and Imam Ali (as). This teaches that true obedience to God extends through Wilāyah.
3. Mentioning “relatives, orphans, and the needy” highlights the central role of the Ahl al-Bayt (as) in the social and spiritual framework of Islam. Imam al-Mahdi (aj) is the ultimate heir of this divine legacy.
4. This verse becomes a foundation for Mahdavi Wilāyah, reminding us that a community that ignores the rights of its "true parents" (the Prophet and Imam Ali) can never be ready for the reappearance of their son — Imam Mahdi (aj).
5. “The traveler” (ابن السبیل) can symbolically refer to those lost in search of truth, waiting for guidance — a metaphor for the global community awaiting the Imam (aj) to complete their journey to divine justice.
🧭 Conclusion
🔹 Surah al-Nisā’, verse 36 paints a spiritual blueprint for a Wilāyah-centered society.
🔹 With the Ahl al-Bayt’s interpretation, the verse teaches that the path to faith, justice, and humanity must pass through obedience to the Imams (as).
🔹 A true awaiter of Imam Mahdi (aj) is one who recognizes, loves, and implements these teachings — embracing the Imams like one embraces a loving father.

🔴 On the Brink of a Civilizational Turning Point: Reflecting on the Hadith of “The People of the East” and Today’s Geopolitical Unfolding
✍️ A Political-Religious Analysis
A profound narration from Imam al-Bāqir (peace be upon him) states:
This noble hadith outlines a roadmap for the final phase of the civilizational confrontation between truth and falsehood. The path begins with “seeking justice,” followed by “resistance” and “armed struggle,” culminating in the handover of the banner to the Imam of the Age (aj).
📌 Where Are We on This Prophetic Map?
When applying this hadith to the current reality of Iran’s confrontation with the West, we can draw the following approximate stages:
⚖️ Stage 1 & 2 – The Demand for Justice
These stages are clearly seen in Iran’s repeated negotiations with the West — from the Saadabad Agreement, to the JCPOA (nuclear deal), and post-JCPOA efforts. In all these, the Islamic Republic sought its rightful entitlements, but met with deception, broken promises, and unfair restrictions.
🗡 Stage 3 – The Sword is Raised
Limited military resistance has emerged:
The "True Promise" (Waʿd al-Ṣādiq) operation,
Strikes on US bases,
Retaliatory actions against Israeli aggression,
Proxy resistance in Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria
🚩 Stage 4 – The Turning Point Has Yet to Fully Unfold
The final stage — where the enemy offers concessions but the righteous refuse to accept — has not yet occurred publicly or officially.
🔍 Why Is This the Most Critical Phase?
At this point, the enemy’s strategy is exposed. When the enemy senses true danger, it offers compromises. But the followers of truth — now mature and spiritually awakened — see through the facade of peace and continue forward.
This is beautifully echoed by Āyatollāh Ḥā’irī Shīrāzī (may Allah bless his soul):
🕊 Conclusion
✅ We have passed through the stages of “demanding justice” and “limited confrontation.”
✅ We are now entering a stage where the enemy is under pressure and may soon offer deals or concessions.
⚠️ However, the true test lies in not accepting these deceptive offers. Rejecting false peace is the defining moment — the mark of spiritual maturity and loyalty.
📖 Related Qur'anic Verse:
“So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior, and Allah is with you.”

A profound narration from Imam al-Bāqir (peace be upon him) states:
“It is as if I see a people emerging from the East seeking the truth, but they are not given it. Then they seek it again and are still denied. So, when they see that, they place their swords upon their shoulders. They are then given what they asked for, but they do not accept it—until they rise, and they will not hand it (the matter) over except to your Companion (i.e., Imam al-Mahdī, may Allah hasten his reappearance).”

📘 As mentioned in the hadith and Āyatollāh Ḥā’irī’s words, no treaty will be signed. Only the faithful companions will stand until the end, preparing the world for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdī (aj).

🔴 “Active Awaiting” in the US vs. Iran: A Distance from Earth to Heaven
✍️ Mostafa Amiri
▪️ In the United States, thousands of books are written about instilling hope in Christian society, the future, and the savior.
▪️ Does it not then raise the question: Why are U.S. senators so infatuated and supportive of Israel?
▪️ Of course, in Iran too, several works have been compiled about Mahdism and the reasons for supporting Palestine, such as the books "The Middle East in the Age of Advent" and "Māreqah al-Rūm", which have reached audiences inside and outside the country.
▪️ In the book "World War Before the Advent", we also portrayed the foundations of Zionism.
🔻 And yet:

Netanyahu’s speech at the CUFI conference in the presence of John Hagee, whose organization has over 10 million members supporting Jews.
Christians United for Israel (CUFI) was founded in Texas, USA.
2️⃣ Second Image:

3️⃣ Third Image:
A book by Richardson seeking to legitimize Israel in American society.
🔻 #Question:
Are there also books in Iranian society that strengthen hope and messianic belief, based on the Quran and Hadiths?

🔴 The Savior: From “Iran to America” and Its Reflection in Foreign Policy
✍️ Mostafa Amiri
▪️ The text was initially only a message from our audience, and we did not intend to add anything to it. However, the issue was so important that it was eventually edited. Now, this “combined text” from the audience and the author is presented to you:
▪️ The reason the culture of awaiting (انتظار) has not fully developed in Iran, or what you call “active awaiting,” is that religious experts have presented Mahdism as so abstract, non-operational, and devoid of practical agency that many people do not have a tangible understanding of it.
● Now, take a survey: Out of these 80 million people in Iran, how many are serious followers and actively engaged in Mahdism-related topics?
● What is the most viewed Mahdist channel? How many members does it have? At most, 30,000.
▪️ Suppose even 500,000 out of 80 million follow a certain Mahdist channel. Look at the recent posts of these channels — how many views did they get? Then compare that with sports and entertainment channels.
▪️ On the other hand, there is this famous phrase in the popular approach to the concept of the Savior:
“Imam Mahdi will come and fix everything.”
▪️ Well, how much of this perception is believable or rational?
But in contrast, in America, they have successfully framed the discourse of the coming of the Savior as completely achievable and down-to-earth. Completely tangible!
▪️ What does that mean? It means you must take these steps for the Savior to appear:
Support the establishment of Israel, consider war in the Middle East as part of a divine plan, etc.
▪️ Cultural projects, valuable publications, media productions, organizations like Christians United for Israel (CUFI), etc., are merely examples of practical actions in American society.
▪️ The result is that in the Shia land of Imam Mahdi, because people lack a proper understanding of the issue, they do not feel a strong sense of duty.
▪️ Meanwhile, in America, both the government and the people who await the Savior have long been planning, future-studying, and taking #practical action, because for them, the issue equates to a sense of duty and social power — and its reflection in U.S. foreign policy is evident.
▪️ The consequences of these two models of promoting the discourse of awaiting the Savior can now be seen in the two societies:
● In Iranian society, people say: “What do we have to do with Lebanon and Palestine?”
● But in American society, they consider supporting Jews and Israel as a divine plan for the future and the salvation of humanity. Isn’t that strange?
These topics that you present and emphasize should reach the youth — they are documented, rational, and based on tangible evidence, and will be very enlightening.
