💠 The #Sermon of #Syeda_Zainab (s.a) in the gathering of Yazid son of Muawiya in #Syria: 

💠 A major part of Zainab’s (sa) mission started when #Karbala tragedy apparently ended with the martyrdom of #Imam_Hussein (a.s). This chapter of Sayyeda Zainab’s (s.a) life began with conveying the message of #Ashura in which she heroically defended the household’s rights and did not permit the enemies to take advantage of Karbala tragedy.

🔷 After the massacre of Imam Hussain bin 'Ali (a.s.) and his companions at Karbala, the forces of Yazid bin Mu'awiyah took the children and women of Hussain's caravan as prisoners. They were taken from Karbala to Kufa and from Kufa to Damascus, the capital and stronghold of Umayyid power. 

🔴 Yazid's government was very strong at that time in Syria, as the people were bombarded with false information about the household of Imam Ali (a.s) and fake virtues and merits of descendants of Abu Sufyan.

🔷 In Damascus, the prisoners were presented into the court of Yazid.
Yazid was seated on his throne and was much pleased when he saw the forty-four bound captives arrive. The head of Hussain(a.s) was then brought to him on a golden tray. He struck the Imam’s teeth with his stick and said:
❇️ “O Hussain! You have paid the price of your revolt.”
He was joyfully reciting some poems in which he openly rejected the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh&hp) and called on his ancestors (who were killed by the Muslim army in the battle of Badr) to witness the revenge which he had extracted from the family of the Prophet. 

✨ When Sayyeda Zainab (s.a) saw this show of arrogance from Yazid, she uprose against him and bravely addressed for all in the palace of Yazid and recited a sermon which proved the rightness of Imam Hussain (a.s) and the wrongdoing of Yazid.

✍️God sends difficulties so that we may turn to ourselves and become true lovers of the Ahlul Bayt and refrain from our wrongdoings. We should strive to be like Habib ibn Mazahir (RA). Habib died and came back to life twice for Hussein.
Once, Habib invited Imam Hussein to his house, but the Imam was delayed. Habib went up to the roof to see where his master was. Suddenly, he fell from the roof and departed from this world. When Habib's father arrived and saw that his son had passed away, he took him inside a room and concealed him so that Imam Hussein wouldn't see him in that state. When the Imam arrived and entered the house, he sat down. After a while, he asked, "Where is Habib?" His father didn't want him to know that Habib had passed away, but suddenly the Imam said, "Go inside, call Habib, and bring him here." Habib's father got up, went into the room, called for Habib, and said, "Habib, your master is calling you."
At that moment, Habib came back to life, stood up, and honored his noble master.
