β–ͺ️A person inquired from Hazrat Zahra (sa):

Did the Prophet (pbuh) explicitly state that Ali (as) is his successor?

Hazrat Zahra (sa) replied:

Wonder! Have you forgotten the day of Ghadir?...

He asked:
Then why did Ali (as) refrain from asserting his right?

Hazrat responded:

The example of the Imam is like that of the Kaaba; people should come to him, and he will not go to anyone...

Rahyafte (The Guided Ones)
πŸ”Ί The late Wilferd Madelung, a distinguished German scholar and expert in Shi'a studies, offers a profound analysis of the state of early Islamic society following the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Madelung, known for his in-depth research and…
In the history of Islam, the issue of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) succession has been a deeply significant and often controversial topic. During the Prophet's final moments, it is recorded that he wished to write a will to guide the Muslim community after his passing. However, Umar ibn al-Khattab prevented this, reportedly saying that the Prophet was delirious, dismissing his words. This incident, known as the "Event of the Pen and Paper," has sparked extensive debate among scholars and historians.

The Quran explicitly states that the Prophet does not speak out of desire or whim:
✳️ "Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed." (πŸ“š Surah An-Najm, 53:3-4).

Additionally, Umar's assault on the house of Fatimah, the beloved daughter of the Prophet, is another deeply troubling episode. This act of violence occurred despite the Quranic commandment that explicitly forbids entering homes without permission:

✳️ "O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants." (πŸ“š Surah An-Nur, 24:27).

These incidents raise critical questions about the conduct of key figures in early Islamic history and the profound implications of their actions on the Muslim community. The contrast between the Quranic teachings and the actions taken during these pivotal moments remains a subject of reflection and discussion among Muslims.
