Iron Maiden

40 years ago Iron Maiden from London, #UK released their 4th album (my very first Maiden and possibly my first Heavy Metal ❤️🔥, in the picture☝️my original MC in #VeniceRocksRoom).
Piece Of Mind was the first #IronMaiden album to feature Nicko McBrain on drums and contains standards such as "Where Eagles Dare", "Flight of Icarus", "The Trooper".
Like its 1982 predecessor, Piece Of Mind was a critical and commercial success: after 👉 The Number Of The Beast Iron Maiden were accused to be satanic, the band was getting tired of that and decided to include a joke phrase before the song "Still Life" that could only be understood playing the record backwards, the purpose was of course to raise more controversies and have a laugh.
Still today my favorite!
In this album:
#BruceDickinson – vocals
#DaveMurray – guitars
#AdrianSmith – guitars
#SteveHarris – bass
#NickoMcBrain – drums
#16May
