🎼19 April 1957. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾to Mr. Tony Martin, born Anthony Philip Harford in Birmingham, England and still today one of the best Heavy⚡️Metal #vocalist around,.
He's most famous for having been #BlackSabbath singer and frontman for 10 years (1987-1997) and for releasing with them fantastic albums: my favorite of that era is Headless Cross, with a stunning Martin's performance, perhaps his best!
I post in the Chat Room👇 a fantastic live track from that album and of course you can post yours 😃

👨🎨19 April 1768. Giovanni Antonio Canal, worldwide known as Canaletto leaves this world in Venice, aged 70.
He was an Italian painter from the Republic of Venice, considered one the most important "vedutisti" of the 18th-century. Thanks to his "vedute", views of Venice, the world knew how it was the city on the Lagoon during its splendour, thus enticing and paving the way to dreamers and travelers who desperately wanted to come and see in person this amazing beauty! Many of his paintings were sold in fact to Englishmen on their Grand Tour.
Canaletto lived mainly in Venice and painted the city from all corners and from the windows and palaces of the noblemen who were eager to #host him.
He also lived in Rome and London where he painted city views too.
Today we can admire his paintings in all the most famous museums of the world.
If there was a photographer and beauty ambassador of Venice in 18th century, his name would be for sure #Canaletto! ❤️

👨🎨19 April 1588. Painter Paolo Veronese (see his self portait☝️📸) passed away in his house in San Samuele☝️📸, Venice and was buried in San Sebastiano Church☝️📸, surrounded by his paintings and frescoes which still today we can admire in there.
Paolo Caliari (born in 1528) became known as #Veronese in Venice because he came from #Verona where he learned his art from local painters.
#PaoloVeronese is perhaps one the most visited painters in the world! That is due to the fact that many of his paintings and frescoes decorate the walls and ceiling of one of the most visited places in the world: The Doge's Palace in #SanMarco Square!☝️📸
Veronese is considered a member of the "great trio" that dominated Venetian #Renaissance painting, the other 2 being 👉 Tiziano and 👉Tintoretto.
His works are held in the most important museums of the world, see in the Chat Room👇 some of his paintings you can admire here in Venice.
