50 years ago Cervello from #Naples, #Italy released their debut and only studio album.
Almost ignored at the time, like many short-lived #RPI projects, Melos became regarded in the years as one the highest examples of musical creativity and complexity that identified those magic and unrepeatable early 1970s.
In particular the guitar work of Corrado Rustici (brother of Danilo from 👉 Osanna, who is also this record producer) and the vocals and poetic lyrics of Di Franco (later known in Italy for writing and singing the hit "Kalimba De Luna" along with Tony Esposito) have been highly appreciated.
In this album:
#AntonioSpagnolo – Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Effects, Recorder, Voice
#RemigioEsposito – Drums, Vibraphone
#CorradoRustici – Lead Guitar, Recorder, Flute, Vibraphone, Voice
#GianluigiDiFranco – Lead Vocals, Flute, Percussion
#GiulioDAmbrosio – Saxophone, Flute, Voice
