🎼13 May 1967. Chuck Schuldiner, one of the most influential musicians in Heavy⚡️Metal history was born Charles Michael Schuldiner in Long Island, New York, USA. He was the founder, vocalist, guitarist and leader of Death, widely regarded as the first death metal band ever (1983).
To those who called him "The Godfather of death metal", Schuldiner replied: "I don't think I should take the credits for this death metal stuff. I'm just a guy from a band, and I think Death is a metal band."
He left this world too soon 20 years ago #13December 2001 for an incurable illness.
In the Chat Room👇 I post a track from the first Death album of 1987, Scream Bloody Gore... the world was simply not ready for that at the time, but today Death Metal is by far the most popular genre within the Heavy Metal scene !
As always if you have any #Death song you like... post it here 😃🤟😈

30 years ago Death from Florida, #USA released their 6th studio album.

In my opinion Symbolic simply tops every Extreme Metal album, it's the quintessence of the genre masterfully performed and, needless to say, it's widely considered #Death best effort, the peak of the band's career and of Chuck Schuldiner's creativity.

Flawless, immense, immortal ❤️‍🔥
