🎼13 May 1967. Chuck Schuldiner, one of the most influential musicians in Heavy⚡️Metal history was born Charles Michael Schuldiner in Long Island, New York, USA. He was the founder, vocalist, guitarist and leader of Death, widely regarded as the first death metal band ever (1983).
To those who called him "The Godfather of death metal", Schuldiner replied: "I don't think I should take the credits for this death metal stuff. I'm just a guy from a band, and I think Death is a metal band."
He left this world too soon 20 years ago #13December 2001 for an incurable illness.

30 years ago Marlene Kuntz from Cuneo, #Piedmont, #Italy released their debut studio album.
Catartica was the first album released through the legendary Italian alternative label Consorzio Produttori Indipendenti (#CPI).
As far as I remember it's also the first album I bought in CD (still today in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️), a format I've never liked that much.
Fantastic album from start to finish, not a weak track in this one, and #MarleneKuntz one of my favorite Italian bands ever ❤️🔥
