40 years ago Acid Bath from Louisiana, #USA released their debut studio album.

When The Kite String Pops was released indipendently and had no promotion.
It remained an underground album also due to the fact that #AcidBath split in 1997 following the death of bassist Audie Pitre.

In the years this has become a cult album, considered as a Sludge Metal milestone, but possibly every heavy sound we heard in the last 30 years is in here 🔥

Acid Bath announced the reunion few months ago and I can't wait to see them live🤘

In my opinion Symbolic simply tops every Extreme Metal album, it's the quintessence of the genre masterfully performed and, needless to say, it's widely considered #Death best effort, the peak of the band's career and of Chuck Schuldiner's creativity.

30 years ago Necromass, obscure underground band from #Florence, #Italy, released their 2nd studio album.

Their 👉 1994 debut, today considered an absolute Black Metal gem with possibly the most blasphemous lyrics, ended with a clean vocal semi-ballad, Death SS style (coming from Florence, surely one of their biggest influences).

In Abyss Calls Life #Necromass seem to pursue the evolution of sound started with that song, even delievering Progressive tracks like "Bloodstorm Collide", "A Serpent Is Screaming in the Abyss", with frontman Blasphemy now performing #DeathMetal vocals all through, alternating whispers and rare clean.
