Napalm Death
📀 Scum
#GrindCore
35 years ago Napalm Death from West Midlands, #UK released their debut studio album entitled Scum.
This album is considered one of the most important and influential for the entire Heavy Metal scene.
It was in fact the first international release for legendary indipendent label #Earache Records (after that become the symbol of Extreme Metal) and it's widely regarded as the first Grindcore record!
The 2 album sides differ from music style (Side A is more Hardcore Punk influenced, Side B is more Heavy Metal influenced) and from lineup (drummer Mick Harris is the only member to appear in both sides).
#NapalmDeath in this album were:
Side A
#NikNapalm – vocals, bass
#JustinBroadrick – guitar, vocals
#MickHarris – drums
Side B
#LeeDorrian – vocals
Jim Whitely – bass
#BillSteer – guitar
Mick Harris – drums, vocals

Paul Chain
📀 Alkahest
#DoomMetal
30 years ago Paul Chain from #Pesaro, #LeMarche, #Italy released his 6th solo album.
The first 5 songs feature Chain on lead vocals with his usual lyrics in phonetic language resemblant to English.
For the last 4 songs Chain called Lee Dorrian of Cathedral, who also wrote the lyrics, included the re-recording of "Voyage To Hell" originally in 👉 Paul Chain 1984 EP.
The final result is amazing, I'm sure this album is almost totally unknown ❤️🔥
Alkahest is up there in my top 3 Doom Metal ever, along with
👉 Candlemass - Nightfall and
👉 Saint Vitus - Die Healing.
Epic 😈
In this album:
#PaulChain – vocals, guitar, organ, producer
#LeeDorrian – vocals, backing vocals
#PaulDark– guitars, flute
#FabriceFrancese, #RobertoIacomucci – bass
#LuSpitfire, #EricLumen – drums
#MarioMariani "Broz", #AndreaRosati – keyboards
#Nembo – cembalo
#AndreaSeki – Medieval lute
#ItalianMetal
