Rush
πŸ“€ Retrospective I & II
#ProgressiveRock #HardRock #HeavyMetal

25 years ago Rush from #Canada released 2 compilation albums widely considered the most exhaustive for those who approach the band.
Retrospective I: 1974 to 1980 came out on #6May, Retrospective II: 1981 to 1987 was released a month later on #3June.
Both recommended!

#Rush:
#GeddyLee β€“ bass guitars, vocals, synthesizers
#AlexLifeson β€“ electric and acoustic guitars
#NeilPeart β€“ drums, percussion, lyricist

Rush
πŸ“€ Caress Of Steel
#ProgressiveRock #HardRock

50 years ago Rush from Toronto, #Canada released their 3rd studio album.

Caress Of Steel is considered a landmark album in #Rush career, as they definitively moved from their early blues-based Hard Rock sound towards Progressive Rock.

Surprisingly this album has always been poorly rated by most of the critics who consider it a low point in Rush discography.
To me is a fantastic album, the final suite "The Fountain of Lamneth" is one of my favorites Rush ❀️‍πŸ”₯

In this album:
#GeddyLee β€“ vocals, bass
#AlexLifeson β€“ 6 and 12-string electric and acoustic guitars, classical guitar, steel guitar
#NeilPeart β€“ drums, percussion, lyrics, spoken word on "The Necromancer"

#TerryBrown β€“ co-producer, engineer, arrangements
