🎼3 June 1964. Happy Birthday πŸ₯³πŸΎ to Doro, born Dorothee Pesch in DΓΌsseldorf, Germany.
In the 70s a Heavy⚑️Metal fan, in the 80s a Heavy Metal Singer and from the 90s the Heavy Metal Queen! 🀟😈
Grew up in maybe the hardest "men's world", she gained worldwide fandom and respect for fronting one of theπŸ” German metal bands of the 1980s, Warlock. In the 1990s she started her solo career with her own band Doro.
Still today widely appreciated for her singing and songwriting, #Doro is a landmark in history for all female metal #vocalist and performers.
In the Chat RoomπŸ‘‡ 2 old #Warlock songs I particularly loved, as always if you have some Doro favs... you can post them here πŸ˜ƒ

Both recommended!

Goblin
πŸ“€ Roller
#ProgressiveRock #InstrumentalRock #FunkRock #SynthRock

50 years ago Goblin from #Rome, #Italy released their 2nd studio album.

Roller came out one year after the iconic and successful πŸ‘‰ Profondo Rosso and is one of the band's rare non-soundtrack albums, though some of the tracks in here would later appear in various films.

The front cover is taken by Louis-LΓ©opold Boilly's illustration of Tartini's dream that inspired The Devil's Trill Sonata.

#Goblin showcase all their instrumental mastery here, free from movie plots and concepts, my favorite album from them ❀️‍πŸ”₯

In this album:
#MassimoMorante β€“ guitars
#FabioPignatelli β€“ bass
#ClaudioSimonetti β€“ Mininoog, organ, keyboads, clavinet, synthesizers
#MaurizioGuarini β€“ keyboards, Moog, piano
#AgostinoMarangolo β€“ drums, percussion
#3June
