📀 Purple Rain
#Rock #Pop #Funk #RnB

40 years ago Prince from Minneapolis, #USA released his 6th studio album, credited to his band Prince And The Revolution.

Purple Rain is the #Soundtrack of the film of the same name which is widely regarded as one of the best Romantic Rock Drama of all time.
The film was a massive success and the soundtrack sold 25 million worldwide, Prince highest selling album and one of the all time best selling!
Prince is the only musician in history who had number one album, single and film in America simultaneously.

And yes, masterpiece ❤️‍🔥

In this album:
#Prince – vocals, guitars, synthesizers, piano, keyboards, bass, drums, tambourine, producer
#BobbyZ – drums
#BrownMark – bass
#WendyMelvoin – guitar
#LisaColeman – synthesizers, co-lead vocals
#MattFink – synthesizers, piano
#Apollonia, #JillJones  – co-lead vocals
#DavidColeman, #NoviNovog, #SuziKatayama – strings

🎸 When #Prince passed away someone said he had "the stage presence of #MichaelJackson, the musical chameleon status of #DavidBowie, the guitar wizardry of #JimiHendrix, and he was as visually provocative as #Madonna"...

Art and music scenes have always been overfilled of such (sometimes clueless) comparisons but... watch that until the end👇❤️‍🔥
