Could Ante Rebic be the next piece of the “Big 3” in a position to leave town?Sempre Inter cited a report from Sky Sports which indicated that Inter Milan had an initial bid of €30 million on Rebic rejected by Die Adler. Eintracht Frankfurt is looking for €40 million and now Inter must decide if it will match the demands of the Bundesliga club. Inter have taken initial steps toward trying to sign Ante Rebic from Eintracht Frankfurt according to a report from Sky Sport Deutschland. The Nerazzurri submitted a €30 million offer but it is understood to have been knocked back by the Bundesliga outfit who have demanded a sum of €40 million for the 25-year-old. It now remains to be seen if Inter will submit another bid that matches the Eagles evaluation or if the two clubs could perhaps meet somewhere in the middle following some talks.Rebic has also been linked to Atlético Madrid, which would seek to pair him Joao Felix for a new look offensive attack.De Ligt deal getting done (Black & White & Read All Over)Our sister site BWRAO is reporting that the deal between Ajax and Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt is finally getting done based on an Instagram post by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. View this post on Instagram De Ligt to Juventus, done deal! ⚪️⚫️ - Matthijs de Ligt is a new Juventus player: it will become official soon, contract have been signed! ✍ - The Dutch CB will arrive tomorrow night in Torino and he’ll have medicals on Wednesday - He’ll be paid €75M (add ons included) to Ajax and so he’ll become the most expensive centre back ever in Italy: what a deal! - De Ligt will sign a contract until June 2024 with Juventus, totally agreed 3 weeks ago #deligt #juve #ajax #transfers #matthijsdeligt •••••••••••••••••••••• ••••••••••••••••••••• De Ligt è della Juventus: tutto fatto ⚪️⚫️ - Matthijs de Ligt è un giocatore della Juve: contratti firmati e dettagli risolti, presto sarà ufficiale! ✍ - L’olandese sarà a Torino domani sera e mercoledì sosterrà le visite mediche - Costerà 75 milioni di euro bonus compresi da versare all’Ajax e sarà il difensore più pagato di sempre in Italia - De Ligt firmerà un contratto fino al giugno 2024 con la Juventus @skysport #calciomercato #juventus #donedeal A post shared by Fabrizio Romano (@fabriziorom) on Jul 15, 2019 at 1:52pm PDT<a href="https://twitter.com/Eintrac…

Bayern Munich making a move for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano

The Bavarians have made contact with Leipzig’s star defender Dayot Upamecano, and are expected to make a move on his €60m release clause in the summer. According to Bild, Bayern have been following the Frenchman’s development for over five years now, and he would make an excellent replacement for Jerome Boateng this summer. As per the report, if another club (like Arsenal, for example) should approach the player, then Bayern will be informed of the move. In the meantime, the club’s interest in Lukas Klostermann has waned significantly, owing to Bayern’s pursuit of Ajax right back Sergino Dest. The youngster was spotted in the stands during the Pokal game between Bayern and Hoffenheim in midweek:Genau gesagt war Dest am Mittwoch beim Pokalspiel des #FCBayern gegen Hoffenheim in der Allianz Arena. FCB-Sportdirektor #Salihamidzic schaute sich sonntags zuvor bereits die Partie zwischen #Ajax und #Eindhoven in der Amsterdam-Arena an. #FCBTransfersommer https://t.co/SuyJapdnwx— Manuel Bonke (@mano_bonke) February 8, 2020Exactly, Dest was at the cup game between #FCBayern and Hoffenheim in the Allianz Arena on Wednesday. FCB sporting director #Salihamidzic already watched the game between on Sunday #Ajax and #Eindhoven in the Amsterdam Arena. #FCBTransfersommerIf these reports are true, then this summer is already shaping up to be an exciting one for Bayern Munich fans. With Leroy Sane also expected to join, the bosses seem to be making good on their promise of bringing in high level squad reinforcements.Upamecano’s arrival would have strong implications for the structure of Bayern’s defense. Currently, David Alaba plays at left center back, with Alphonso Davies filling it at right back. Due to Lucas Hernandez’s injury, Jerome Boateng has been starting at right center back. Upamecano could take Boateng’s spot, but that would bring him into competition with Niklas Sule, who is currently sidelined with an ACL injury.Having so many options in defense could complicate things for the coach, but it would be prudent for the bosses to go ahead with the transfer anyway. Upamecano and Hernandez are somewhat injury prone to begin with, and there’s no telling what Sule’s form will be like after he returns from injury. With that in mind, it’s good…

Deportivo Alaves v FC Barcelona - La Liga SantanderPhoto by Juan Manuel Serrano Arce/Getty ImagesA new right-back could still be on Bayern Munich’s agenda for the summer.According to Sport1’s Kerry Hau (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich will not only be looking to fill a hole at center-back this summer. The Bavarians will also be in search of another option at right-back. Transfermarkt’s Manuel Veth followed up on that news by stating that FC Barcelona right-back and USMNT star Sergino Dest could be back in play for Bayern Munich. Moreover, Veth stated that should the Rekordmeister pursue Dest, the cost for the former Ajax player will be “significantly less” than the €21 million that FC Barcelona pad for Dest back in 2020:Sergiño Dest to #Bayern could be back on. Although this would be a deal significantly less than what #Barca originally paid for the right back to #Ajax. https://t.co/BVgSNou5dA— Manuel Veth (@ManuelVeth) January 27, 2022Chelsea FC is also said to be interested in Dest, but Bayern Munich’s next investment at right-back will likely need to be able to function in a wing-back role as well. Julian Nagelsmann seems to be trending toward using a back-three at least part of the time in the future. It is safe to say that Bayern Munich will prioritize an offensively-minded option for its next acquisition at the position.

Ajax v SC Heerenveen - Dutch EredivisiePhoto by Soccrates/Getty ImagesIn addition to Noussair Mazraoui, it seems like Ryan Gravenberch is also coming from Ajax Amsterdam to Bayern Munich this summer. In the heat of the moment, sometimes words can slip up. Emotions run high in moments of triumph, and they certainly ran high last week as Ajax celebrated winning the Eredivisie title. Emotions ran so high that Ryan Gravenberch’s teammate might have said some things he shouldn’t have said. There has been no official news of Gravenberch joining Bayern Munich, however, there have been discussions between the Dutch midfielder and the Bavarian club. Ajax’s Kenneth Taylor is the first person to make comments on the transfer as a video circulated around Twitter of Taylor congratulating Gravenberch on his move to Bayern.Ho Gravenberch official @FCBayern #ajax #BayernMunich #gravenberch pic.twitter.com/uuYMuMvwdK— Sven XXXVI (@Svenn020) May 11, 2022“Unfortunately he will leave us, but he deserves it. We wish you the best of luck at Bayern Munich,” said Taylor as he slipped up the big news [TZ]. Although this is by no means an official announcement, it certainly could have strong hints towards where Gravenberch might be playing next season. Only time will tell.
