🎼20 March 1976. Chester Bennington, founder, leader, singer and songwriter of Linkin Park was born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. He would be 45 today but on July 20, 2017 something went wrong in his mind 🤷♂️. "I can't imagine a world without you in it" he said only 2 months before, about his friend #ChrisCornell death, and he took his own life the day on what would have been Chris' 53rd birthday.
I have to say I never liked #LinkinPark so much (I totally loved #Soundgarden instead), but they were such a "big thing" in early 2000's, that I went to their concert here in Venice San Giuliano Park in Summer 2008 and I really enjoyed it a lot 🤟👍 #ChesterBennington was undoubtedly a huge talented #vocalist!
Here's a rare video of him and Mike Shinoda in Venice early that day... if you watch it all, at some point you can see Chester not being very lucky in his pizza choice in town 🙈... unfortunately at the time I wasn't around with my Local Food Tours for Rockers 😊😉

#Dorsoduro is connected to San Marco area by the wooden Accademia Bridge, built in stone the first time in 1854 and rebuilt in wood quite recently in 1933, today completely restored.
From #AccademiaBridge we all can take one of the most iconic and famous landscape pictures of Venice.
Thanks to my fantastic #WalkingTour in Dorsoduro 😃😉 you can fully enjoy the area, visit the many Churches and Palaces, amazing secret places off the beaten tracks, indulge in "spritz and cicheti" in front of the ancient Squero, where still today Gondolas are built and repaired, while hearing stories of the original "Mastri d'Ascia" who came down from my #Dolomites to build #Gondola for Venice 💪🏻😃...
