π A Hard Day's Night
#Rock #PopRock #Pop
60 years ago The Beatles from Liverpool, #UK released their 3rd studio album.
A Hard Day's Night is the first #Beatles album to contain only songs written by the duo Lennon-McCartney and the first where George Harrison plays a 12-string guitar, thus popularizing instrument and sound.
Side A of the album is the #soundtrack of the film of the same name focused on the Beatlemania, starring the Fab Four themselves: it came out along with the album and both had an unprecedented commercial success!
A Hard Day's Night (film) is still considered one of the best music movies of all time and it basically influenced everything visual that came after (Musicals, TV Shows, Videoclips...).
In this album:
#JohnLennon β vocals, guitars, harmonica, piano
#PaulMcCartney β vocals, bass, piano, cowbell
#GeorgeHarrison β vocals, guitars
#RingoStarr β drums
Additional musician
#GeorgeMartin β piano, production
