Frontman and # vocalist for a lifetime (since 1969!) for Scorpions, absolutely the most famous and acclaimed German Heavy Metal band in the world!
Scorpions have sold some 110 million records in more than 50 years 👏👍🏻 and this is also thanks to Klaus Meine's distinctive voice, one of those anyone can immediately recognize!

50 years ago Il Balletto di Bronzo from Naples, #Italy released their 2nd and final studio album entitled Ys.
The album, as often happened in those years for Italian Progressive Rock underground bands, had poor consideration and sales and IBdB disbanded soon.
And as often happened Ys was rediscovered and appreciated many years later like the entire RPI scene.
Ys, sang in Italian language, is a concept album about the last man left on Earth, who makes a hallucinating journey split in 3 encounters, before tragically disappearing in the dark, as happened to the mythological island of Ys swallowed by the waters.
#IlBallettodiBronzo in this album were:
Gianni Leone - vocals, synthetizes, keyboards
Lino Ajello - guitar
Vito Manzari - bass
Gianchi Stinga - drums
A female choir member was Giusy Romeo, in the 80s she became a famous pop singer in Italy, under the name of #GiuniRusso.

40 years ago Dio from New York #USA released their debut studio album.
The band was created few months earlier by frontman Ronnie James Dio who brought in former members from his previous experiences in Black Sabbath and Rainbow.
A young Vivian Campbell was hired on guitar, he brought in a couple of riffs from his NWOBHM band Sweet Savage.
Holy Diver is considered a milestone for the entire Heavy Metal genre and is also the most known and succesful #Dio album.
Timeless Masterpiece🤘❤️🔥
