๐ผ6 March 1946. Happy Birthday ๐ค๐ฅณ๐พ to Mr. David Gilmour, born in Cambridge, England. He doesn't need much presentation, he is one of the few guitarist anyone can tell immediately after 1 note... it's him ! ๐ธ๐
He will always have an indelible liason with Venice, due to the (in)famous Pink Floyd free concert in front of St. Mark in 1989 and being accused by the police to have destroyed the city... after the City called them to play ๐
I will write about this on July 15 (the anniversary), but to give an idea of the substance of the man I will share this video of him in Venice when he came for his solo concert in 2006...

๐ผ6 March 1970. Let it be is the last single of the Beatles to see the light. Written and sung by #PaulMcCartney, who had already announced his departure from the band. The eponymous album was released 2 months later but Beatles didn't exist anymore ๐คทโโ๏ธ
If there ever was a Unesco World Heritage for Music, they should maybe have done something to preserve the #Beatles but... that's how the story went.
In Chat Room๐ I post the only existing picture of the Beatles in Venice!!!
