📀 A Different Kind of Truth
#HardRock #HeavyMetal
10 years ago Van Halen released their 12th studio album. This album has many uniquenesses:
it's the final Van Halen studio album, after #EddieVanHalen passing away the band doesn't exist anymore.
It's their only studio album recorded without bassist Michael Anthony, here replaced by Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen.
It's their only studio album on Interscope Records.
Finally and most notably it's their first full-length album with original lead vocalist #DavidLeeRoth since 1984!
A Different Kind of Truth is a classic #VanHalen album, half of its songs are in fact 1980s outtakes re-arranged and never published before... and the acoustic renditions of 1970s VH hits released as bonus tracks are gems!
The album was a great commercial success too (it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200) and it was followed by a huge (and final) reunion tour in the #USA.

This guy just turned 70 two days ago! He's Vasco Rossi, undoubtedly the most famous rocker in #Italy, born on 7 February 1952 in Zocca, a beautiful and wild place in the Appennine mountains near #Bologna, #EmiliaRomagna!
I know an unbelievable restaurant in Zocca, I can take you there anytime 😋😍🔝
Here's a vintage video of one of his most famous songs👇... homemade, local, genuine, "casereccio", so Italian 😉
