In the 90s he was a founder and member of hard rock Supergroup Mr. Big (I'm sure everyone remembers them for just one song!)... 🤔 Today he is a permanent member of hard prog rock supergroup The Winery Dogs along with 2 huge masters of 🎸, #RichieKotzen, and 🥁, #MikePortnoy.

it's the final Van Halen studio album, after #EddieVanHalen passing away the band doesn't exist anymore.
It's their only studio album recorded without bassist Michael Anthony, here replaced by Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen.
It's their only studio album on Interscope Records.
Finally and most notably it's their first full-length album with original lead vocalist #DavidLeeRoth since 1984!
A Different Kind of Truth is a classic #VanHalen album, half of its songs are in fact 1980s outtakes re-arranged and never published before... and the acoustic renditions of 1970s VH hits released as bonus tracks are gems!
The album was a great commercial success too (it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200) and it was followed by a huge (and final) reunion tour in the #USA.

Following the great success of 👉 his debut release, for Eat 'Em And Smile "Diamond Dave" hired extraordinary musicians: guitarist Steve Vai who co-wrote most songs, drummer Gregg Bissonette and bassist Billy Sheehan who brought in his signature song "Shyboy".
The result is a great album that challenged 👉 Van Halen's 5150 of the same year🤘
The album contains 2 cover songs, "Tobacco Road" by #TheNashvilleTeens and "That's Life" by #FrankSinatra.
