Hard Rock and Heavy Metal singer and songwriter for 5 decades, #SammyHagar first fronted seminal band Montrose in the 70s, later started a succesful solo career and in 1985 joined Van Halen replacing the departed singer #DavidLeeRoth.
Hagar is also a member of supergroup Chickenfoot along with #guitarist master #JoeSatriani, #RHCP #drummer Chad Smith and Van Halen #bassist Michael Anthony, and leader of Sammy Hagar and The Circle. In 1990s he also became an enterpreneur having founded and owning the Cabo Wabo tequila brand and restaurant chain 🥃👍

#SimonAndGarfunkel became one of the best-selling music groups in the 1960s, thanks to immortal songs such as "The Sound of Silence" (1965), "Scarborough Fair" (1966), "Mrs. Robinson" (1968), "The Boxer" (1969) and "Bridge over Troubled Water" (1970)... which I post in the Chat Room👇

The album title tells everything about the lyrics, harsh political and social criticism for the USA and the American Way in general. This album is widely considered the best in #WarriorSoul discography, at the time they were at the peak of their career having toured in support of the biggest Heavy Metal bands.
This is also the last Warrior Soul album through a major label (Geffen), the band was in fact against music business rules and this caused them a ban from that in the following years.

200 years ago, #13October 1822, the author of this breathtaking masterpiece (for sure one of the most famous and admired sculptures in history, today at Paris Louvre) passed away in Venice.
His heart ❤️ is buried inside the Basilica dei Frari, #SanPolo district, kept in a monumental corner of the church.
He is the only artist who ever caused me a Stendhal Syndrome 😱 (whatever it is) when visiting his house museum in his birthplace, 1 hour drive from Venice... I wish you could come with me, a true astonishing hidden gem!
