🎼17 June 1991. 30 years ago 😳 Van Halen release a masterpiece album, their 9th entitled simply F.U.C.K.
Everyone in the band was at his peak in that moment and the album went straight to #1 in Billboard charts! 🤟
The title was suggested by #vocalist Sammy Hagar (one of my all time favorite voices🎙) in reaction to the increasing censorship on music lyrics: the 4 letters stand for "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge".
I chose Poundcake👇 the amazing opening track, another genius performance by the never forgotten #guitarist Eddie Van Halen 🙏, who plays his guitar 🎸 with a drill 😳💪⚡️in reaction to his producer who desperately wanted the song to start with an acoustic intro 🙈👍🔝

🎼Talking 'bout Van Halen today☝️: someone of their Italian fan club recently found an old video of the band filmed 40 years ago here in #Italy (in a Jurassic Park 🦖😳near Milan) and broadcasted by RAI (Italian Public TV) for 1 time only.
In 1981 #VanHalen singer was the original David Lee Roth... a guy with quite a stage presence I'd say 😉🤟

He marked an era as #vocalist and performer in the 1970s/1980s, first as Van Halen frontman and later with his David Lee Roth Band. After those years I have to say... he didn't do much.
He was back with #VanHalen in 2012 for their last studio album A Different Kind of Truth and they were supposed to tour the world indefinitley but... #guitarist master #EddieVanHalen was already struggling and he lost his battle 1 year ago on 6 October 2020 🥺

10 years ago Van Halen released their 12th studio album.This album has many uniquenesses:
it's the final Van Halen studio album, after #EddieVanHalen passing away the band doesn't exist anymore.
It's their only studio album recorded without bassist Michael Anthony, here replaced by Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen.
It's their only studio album on Interscope Records.
Finally and most notably it's their first full-length album with original lead vocalist #DavidLeeRoth since 1984!
A Different Kind of Truth is a classic #VanHalen album, half of its songs are in fact 1980s outtakes re-arranged and never published before... and the acoustic renditions of 1970s VH hits released as bonus tracks are gems!
The album was a great commercial success too (it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200) and it was followed by a huge (and final) reunion tour in the #USA.
