🎼12 November 1971. 50 years ago Genesis released their 3rd studio album Nursery Cryme. It's a gem of Progressive Rock and it's their first album with 2 new members who would become 2 rock giants 🤟: I'm talking about #guitarist 🎸 Steve Hackett and #drummer 🥁Phil Collins, who few years later would become the band's #vocalist🎙in substitution of the departed #PeterGabriel (another giant, is him? 😉).
The opening track of this album is called The Musical Box👇 which IMHO is one of the highest peaks in contemporary music! 😳🔝

🎼12 February 1950. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾to amazing progressive rock #guitarist 🎸and songwriter Steve Hackett, born Stephen Richard Hackett in London, England.
With #Genesis from 1971 to 1977, after that a great solo career and uncountable collaborations.
He's supposed to play not far from Venice next summer... I hope to meet him in the city 😉🤟
Listen to one of his masterpieces, maybe the one I most love 👉 here
