Gambling and gaming were illegal for ages everywhere in the world. In 1638 the first legal gambling house openend in Venice and became known as Ridotto di San Moisè: it stayed there for centuries before being transferred to Venice #Lido from 1938 until 1990s.
Today Ca' Vendramin Calergi hosts the oldest Casino in the world and a small Museum dedicated to one of the all time greatest classical composers, whose music is considered a big influence on Neoclassical Symphonic Rock and Metal (#JimSteinman, #Manowar ...):

It was Friday 13 of 55 years ago when Black Sabbath from Birmingham, England #UK, released their self-titled debut album.
Scary album cover, haunting guitar riff, wicked and unique vocals... after few notes the entire Rock scene was ready for a change, since this is unanimously regarded as the first Heavy Metal album, and #BlackSabbath as the most influential band in the genre and all its subgenres.
The album contains 2 cover songs, "Evil Woman" of #Crow and "Warning" of #AynsleyDunbarRetaliation.
Still shivering like the first time I put on my vinyl in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️
