📜📸 Cannaregio. The first Sestiere (district) we meet when arriving in Venice by train and Airport taxi boat. You can see it on the Map☝️❤️bordered in red❤️.
#Cannaregio is the northern Sestiere in Venice, it also comprehends #SanMichele Island, which is Venice cemetery. Before they built the big bridge that connects Venice Island to the Mainland, the Canal Regio (Italian for Royal Canal) which gives the name to this Sestiere, was the main access to Venice (on water).
