Ozzy Osbourne
📀 Speak Of The Devil
#HeavyMetal
40 years Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne from Birmingham, #UK released 2 live albums at the same time.
The 2 albums have much in common:
1- #BlackSabbath publishing deal with their previous management had expired early that year; it meant that by re-recording Sabbath 1970s songs all songwriters would benefit from the publishing royalties: and both Sabbath and Ozzy were desperately in need of money!
2- Both albums led to the 2 band's breakup, read here the reasons why:
👉 Speak Of The Devil, the album nobody wanted to record
👉 Live Evil, mutual accusations Black Sabbath / R.J. Dio
In Live Evil:
#TonyIommi – guitar
#GeezerButler – bass
#RonnieJamesDio – vocals
#VinnyAppice – drums
#GeoffNicholls – keyboards
In Speak Of The Devil:
#OzzyOsbourne - vocals, harmonica
#BradGillis - guitar
#RudySarzo - bass
#TommyAldridge - drums

Black Sabbath
📀 Headless Cross
#HeavyMetal
35 years ago Black Sabbath from Birmingham, England, #UK released their 14th studio album.
Headless Cross is generally considered the best #BlackSabbath album of the "Tony Martin era" (so addressed after the vocalist). In my opinion this is also one of the best 1980s Heavy Metal and today my cassette plays loud in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️
Superb album🤘❤️🔥
In this album:
#TonyMartin – vocals
#TonyIommi – guitars, production
#GeoffNicholls − keyboards
#CozyPowell – drums, production
#LaurenceCottle – bass
Additional musicians
#BrianMay – first guitar solo on "When Death Calls"
#17April

Black Sabbath
📀 Seventh Star
#HeavyMetal #HardRock
40 years ago Black Sabbath from Birmingham, #UK, released their 12th studio album.
Seventh Star came out 3 years after the previous 👉 Born Again and was originally intended as the first solo album of guitarist Tony Iommi.
#BlackSabbath in fact did not officially disband, but Iommi put the band on hiatus since at the time he was the only remaining original member.
The record company pushed Iommi to still use the Black Sabbath monicker, that's why the album was published as "Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi".
Despite being negatively recieved by critics and generally poorly reviewed, this is a great album ❤️🔥
In this album:
#TonyIommi – guitars
#GlennHughes – vocals
#EricSinger – drums
#DaveSpitz "The Beast" – bass
#GeoffNicholls – keyboards
Additional musician
#GordonCopley – bass
