#HardRock #HeavyMetal #RockBlues
55 years ago an airship representing the Hindenburg desaster (my cassette in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️) smashed down on the Rock'n'Roll scene... shaping it forever!
Led Zeppelin from London, #UK released their self-titled debut album.
Recorded and produced on founder Jimmy Page's own expenses in just 36 hours in October 1968, containing both original songs and blues standards remakes (#WillieDixon, #AnneBredon, #JakeHolmes) #LedZeppelin sold 10million copies and they became soon one of the most influential Rock bands of all time🤘
In this album:
#RobertPlant – vocals, harmonica
#JimmyPage – guitars, backing vocals, production
#JohnPaulJones – bass, Hammond organ, backing vocals
#JohnBonham – drums, timpani, backing vocals
Additional musician
#ViramJasani – tabla

📀 In Through The Out Door
#HardRock #RockBlues #ArtRock
45 years ago Led Zeppelin from London, #UK released their 8th studio album.
Even if their final album is considered 👉 Coda of 1982, In Through The Out Door is the last #LedZeppelin release with all members alive, they in fact disbanded in 1980 following John Bonham's death.
Critics were on the cold side about this album, considering it too keyboards driven, it was a huge commercial success anyway, selling more than 7 million copies worldwide!
My cassette in #VeniceRocksRoom has the European alternate cover☝️
Another Led Zeppelin gem❤️🔥
In this album:
#RobertPlant – vocals
#JimmyPage – guitars, Gizmotron, production
#JohnPaulJones – bass guitar, keyboards
#JohnBonham – drums, percussion

55 years ago Led Zeppelin from London, #UK, released their 2nd studio album.
Led Zeppelin II came out few months later their amazing
👉 debut album and went straight to n.1 both in UK and US charts.
Six of the nine songs were written by #LedZeppelin, while the other three were reinterpretations of 👉 Chicago Blues songs by #WillieDixon and #HowlinWolf.
The words "milestone" and "masterpiece" can't fully describe this album, its importance and influence in Rock history ❤️🔥🤘
In this album:
#RobertPlant – vocals, harmonica
#JimmyPage – guitars, theremin, backing vocals
#JohnPaulJones – bass, organ, backing vocals
#JohnBonham – drums, backing vocals

📀 Presence
#HardRock #RockBlues
50 years ago Led Zeppelin from London, #UK released their 7th studio album.
Presence was recorded while Robert Plant was recovering after a serious car accident earlier that year, the title came from the strong presence the group felt as they worked together.
The album debuted at n.1 in US charts, though it did not sell like their previous works.
This is generally not considered among #LedZeppelin highlights, which for me means that is "only" a great album🤘❤️🔥

#JohnBonham – drums
