I Can't Explain was written by #guitarist and main songwriter Pete Townsend when he was 18, who candidly admits in the liner notes the resemblance of this song with another contemporaneous rock hit 😳: All Day and All of the Night by the #Kinks.
During the rehearsals of I Can't Explain a young #JimmyPage took part as sessionman 🎸 though not credited on the final recording: both #TheWho and Page recalled this years later.
I Can't Explain would become a The Who classic and a rock standard, covered by many artists and bands, some more in the Chat Room👇

Even if their final album is considered 👉 Coda of 1982, In Through The Out Door is the last #LedZeppelin release with all members alive, they in fact disbanded in 1980 following John Bonham's death.
Critics were on the cold side about this album, considering it too keyboards driven, it was a huge commercial success anyway, selling more than 7 million copies worldwide!

The songs were recorded in Marrakech, Morocco, in a forest in Wales and in a London studio.
No Quarter sold millions and was followed by a world tour.

This is generally not considered among #LedZeppelin highlights, which for me means that is "only" a great album🤘❤️🔥
