The Cult
📀 Sonic Temple
#HardRock #HeavyMetal #GlamMetal
35 years ago The Cult from Bradford, #UK, released their 4th studio album.
Sonic Temple marked #TheCult definitive international breakthrough: the sound was heavier and fresh thanks to the production of #BobRock, the band's members imagery changed from the 1980s Gothic Glam style into a native American outfit, lyrics were now often about American Indians too.
The album was The Cult biggest commercial success and my cassette☝️still plays loud in #VeniceRocksRoom🤘❤️🔥
In this album:
#IanAstbury – vocals, percussion
#BillyDuffy – guitar
#JamieStewart – bass, keyboards
Additional personnel
#EricSinger - drums during first demo version
#ChrisTaylor - drums during second demo version
#MickeyCurry – drums
#IggyPop – backing vocals on "New York City"
#JohnWebster – keyboards
#BobBuckley – string arrangement
#10April
