It's hard to think an entire generation of Grunge heroes already left us... and they were all frontmen! 😢
#MarkLanegan, say hallo to heaven and to #AndrewWood, #KurtCobain, #LayneStaley, #ChrisCornell.

🎼5 April 2002.
It's 20 years that Layne is in his Nutshell...
#LayneStaley #AliceinChains #5April
"We chase misprinted lies
We face the path of time
And yet I fight, and yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No place to call home
My gift of self is raped
My privacy is raked
And yet I find, and yet I find
Repeating in my head
If I can't be my own
I'd feel better dead"

Alice In Chains
📀 Jar Of Flies
#Grunge #AlternativeRock #AcousticRock
30 years ago Alice In Chains from Seattle, #USA, released their 3rd overall and 2nd acoustic EP (my cassette in #VeniceRocksRoom☝️).
It's difficult for me to attribute a music genre to this work, probably since Jar Of Flies is one of my all time favorites❤️🔥
The highest peak in #AliceInChains discography IMHO with #vocalist Layne Staley and #guitarist, primary songwriter Jerry Cantrell at unbelievable levels.
Every song is a gem that closes and encloses those unrepeatable years for Rock music. Perfection🤘
#AIC here:
#LayneStaley – lead vocals
#JerryCantrell – guitar, backing vocals, lead vocals
#MikeInez – bass, backing vocals
#SeanKinney – drums, percussion
Additional
#AprilAcevez – viola
#RebeccaClemonsSmith, #MatthewWeiss – violin
#JustineFoy – violoncello
#DavidAtkinson – harmonica
#RandyBiro, #DarrelPeters – additional vocals
