50 years ago Uriah Heep from London, #UK released their 4th studio album Demons and Wizards.
There are works in Rock Music History that everyone should listen to once in a lifetime... this is one of that IMHO.
The album had generally positive reception and reviews, a fair commercial success, but became highly praised in following years, most notably within the Heavy Metal scene: drummer Lee Kerslake who had just joined #UriahHeep in 1972, later recalled that Demons and Wizards was the favorite and most inspiring album for legendary 🎸#RandyRhoads when the both were in Ozzy Osbourne's band.
Uriah Heep in this album were:
#DavidByron – lead vocals
#MickBox – lead guitar
#KenHensley – keyboards, backing, co-lead vocals, guitars, percussion
#GaryThain – bass
#MarkClarke – bass, co-lead vocals
#LeeKerslake – drums, backing vocals, percussion
