🎼9 March 1945. Happy Birthday 🥳🍾 to Robin Trower, born in London and #guitarist for #ProcolHarum in their best years (1967-1971).

In 1974 #RobinTrower released with his own band his second studio album called Bridge Of Sighs.
Title and Titletrack👇 are inspired by the #BridgeOfSighs (Ponte dei Sospiri) here in Venice ❤️

55 years ago Procol Harum from Essex, #UK released their self-titled debut album.

Following the enormous popularity of their first single of the same year 👉 A Wither Shade of Pale which peaked the charts and sold millions, Procol Harum had a great response in Europe and in the US, left aside the UK.
The UK version of the album did not include their succesful single, which appears in the international edition instead.
Songwriter Keith Reid wrote all lyrics for this and all following #ProcolHarum albums.

Procol Harum in this album were:
#GaryBrooker – vocals, piano
#RobinTrower – guitar
#MatthewFisher – organ
#DaveKnights – bass
B. J. Wilson – drums
Ray Royer – guitar

Additional personnel
Bill Eyden – drums
