55 years ago, some say in September, some in October, some in December, High Tide from Northampton, England, #UK released their debut studio album.

At the time #HighTide were poorly considered, if not ignored. In retrospect Sea Shanties is regarded as one of the earliest Heavy Metal albums🤘

The violin of Simon House (later #Hawkwind) omnipresent throughout the album, surprisingly contributes to deliever a heavier sound!

This is often labeled as #ProtoMetal, #ProtoProg, Proto whatever, to me it's always been like The Doors met Black Sabbath!

The instrumental "Death Warmed Up" is one of the most mind blowing pieces I've head ❤️‍🔥
