What's known about the last voyage of Ursa Major:

🇷🇺 According to the official version, the ship was heading from St. Petersburg to Vladivostok with a cargo of port cranes and parts for icebreakers under construction. It set out on the voyage on December 11.
On the same day, another Oboronlogistics ro-ro, Sparta, left the port of Baltiysk (Kaliningrad Region).
On December 16, both ships passed through the English Channel together, accompanied by two Russian military corvettes (photo 1). A Western military analyst suggested that the cargo ships were heading to Tartus.

▪️The rescue operation after the explosion on the Ursa Major was led by a "Russian military ship", reports the Spanish newspaper La Verdad
The captain of the Ursa Major told Spanish rescuers that the ship was carrying "empty containers".
