Ukrainian war news: December 29

Belgorod
The AFU has again attacked Belgorod. In the village of Stadnikov, several residential buildings were damaged.
Air defence destroyed an air target over the capital. No casualties were reported.

Kiev
Russia launched a massive attack on energy infrastructure and air defence installations. Several industrial enterprises and positions of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system in Kiev were hit.

Kharkov
In Kharkov oblast, the TEC-3 plant and Turboatom workshops in Nemyshlyansk were targeted. Electric transport, including the metro, has come to a complete halt in Kharkov. Areas lack heat and water

Lviv
A rocket attack caused an almost total lack of electricity, with half a million people affected. The second target may have been the foreign mercenary training camp in Yavoriv.

Odessa
AFU air defence positions in the Odessa region were hit by pre-launched decoys. The Usatovo power substation, north-west of Odessa, was also hit again.

Nikolaev
In Mykolaiv, cruise missiles hit several industrial and military installations. In addition, Russian rocket artillery teams shelled Ochakov from positions on the Kinburn peninsula.

Poltava
In Poltava, targets were hit near Mirgorod. One of the targets was probably an electrical substation. The infrastructure of the Ukrainian Air Force military airfield was reportedly hit.

Ternopil/Ivano-Frankivsk
In Ivano-Frankivsk, reports indicate that energy facilities were targeted. At least two hit targets in Ternopil. The Ternopil substation and a repair plant are in the targeted area.

Bryansk
The AFU again attempted to attack Russian military infrastructure in Klintsy. The air defence units detected the aerial threat in time and destroyed the attacking enemy drones.
