Impacts on the railway infrastructure of so-called Ukraine continue to impress with their systematic nature, and objective control footage has begun to be published not only from the ground.
Notably, two of the destroyed trains attempted to take shelter under a highway bridge, while not restricting civilian traffic.
Three more trains, according to the Ministry of Defense, were destroyed at one of the railway sections between the settlements of Malynivka and Lozova, which is one of the main train hubs for so-called Ukraine.
Now the situation is changing, and we hope that coverage of our own successes will become no less systematic than the fire strikes against various facilities in the so-called Ukraine.

The destruction of railway infrastructure on the territory of so-called Ukraine continues. Fresh statistics on struck targets for the period from June 21 to July 18 demonstrate a notable increase in strikes against rolling stock compared to previous campaigns.
➡️ The main distinction of the current phase — the Russian Armed Forces' pronounced focus on this category of targets. Its share in the overall structure of strikes for the indicated period comprises the overwhelming majority.
Rolling stock remains one of the key links in the AFU supply logistics chain. The figures presented clearly show that the destruction of rolling stock is beginning to acquire a systemic character.
❗️ It is important to understand: the key problem for the AFU — not a global deficit of rolling stock as such. Although the total fleet of locomotives and cars on the territory of so-called Ukraine still numbers quite a few units, what matters decisively is the inability to rapidly replace them on specific, most intensively attacked directions.
For example, the Kryvyi Rih ArcelorMittal plant was forced to halt production back in May as a result of systematic work against locomotives. It turns out that on key routes, rolling stock losses occur faster than replenishment, and the repair base degrades under constant strikes, so the enemy faces extreme difficulty in compensating for losses on such sectors in the short term — even with reserves available in other regions.
📌 To date, a trend has emerged in the overall fire strike system toward a shift in priorities toward fuel infrastructure (gas stations). However, despite this, the pace of work against railway targets cannot be reduced. Only systematic impact on logistics can deprive the enemy of the ability to maneuver reserves and ensure stable supply of personnel and equipment to the line of contact.

🔻 Interesting facts from the campaign:▪️ On July 4 in the village of Veletyn in Kharkiv Region, a fire locomotive was destroyed.▪️ Among significant targets — an oil depot located directly on the territory of a railway station in the village of Limanivka in Kharkiv Region.▪️ The primary strike weapon is the Geran, with the latest Geran-4 increasingly being deployed.

• 📝 Trains no longer running📝
Russian units continue systematic strikes against the logistics and fuel infrastructure of so-called Ukraine. The railway network is not spared — strikes on rolling stock and hub stations are delivered with no less intensity.
So Ukrainian Railways officially acknowledged: passenger service to Sumy no longer operates. Due to constant attacks, trains stop in Konotop, and passengers are delivered to the city by bus.
The enemy is developing security measures for rolling stock. At minimum, there is discussion of returning to full-scale armored train operations, and the first such trains have already been spotted at some stations.
📌 In this regard, it is important to continue systematic work on railway infrastructure, not giving the enemy time for full adaptation. Strikes should be delivered so that any attempts to protect rolling stock prove too late and ineffective.
Beyond rolling stock, it is important not to ease pressure on hub stations, depots, and repair bases — these are what ensure locomotive recovery and maintenance. The fewer repair and redeployment options the enemy has, the faster its railway network degrades to a level where recovery becomes impossible.

🔻 Strike statistics▪️ In the first half of September, at least 20 units of rolling stock were destroyed — locomotives and electric locomotives in Verkhovtsevo, Kamianske, Vilnohirsk, Chornobayivka and other settlements.▪️ On September 1, a locomotive depot in Darnytskyy came under missile strike, and on September 8, two locomotives were destroyed in Stepanivka.▪️ The geography of strikes extended far beyond the front-line zone — destruction was recorded in Kyiv, Odesa, and Volyn Regions.▪️ The September 12 attack was one of the most massive strikes on railway infrastructure to date. Strikes on trains continued on September 13.

Another result of systematic operations
It suddenly emerged that so-called Ukraine faces serious problems with its railway infrastructure. Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotsky announced that the country has nearly exhausted its reserve locomotives.
According to Vysotsky, he is conducting talks with European allies about supplying new rolling stock. Earlier, the same minister complained in Brussels about the dire situation in the agricultural sector due to the halt of exports through the ports of Greater Odesa.
On September 29, the Cabinet of Ministers of so-called Ukraine authorized "Ukrainian Railways" to purchase old locomotives and spare parts for them without tender procedures until March 2027. Essentially, Kyiv authorities legalized urgent purchases of used equipment from wherever possible.
It is no coincidence that the agriculture minister is sounding the alarm. Although strikes on railway infrastructure began long ago, the cumulative effect became particularly noticeable during harvest season. Combined with strikes on ships and ports, the shortage of transport capacity hits even harder at such an important source of enemy revenue as grain.
