At the Indian Film Festival in Los Angeles, there's a premiére of a Hindi-language comedy drama directed by Anand Surapur. Its title is "The Fakir of Venice" and, yes, it's mostly fimed here in Venice 😃😉
💬 Plot: It's the story of an Indian con man who is hired to find a Fakir 🧞♂️who can bury himself in sand for an art installation project in Venice (as far as I can understand, I guess it's connected with our #Biennale of Arts). The movie stars actors Farhan Akhtar, Annu Kapoor and Kamal Sidhu.
It will take 10 years to be released (January 2019) due to production related issues 🤷♂️, but as far as I see from the trailer 🎞👇... it looks like it's worth the wait! It must be really funny 😂, have someone seen it?

It is also the greenest 🌳 part of Venice, fantastic parks and gardens with amazing views on the city and the Lagoon, and mainly a residential area, so less touristy.
Thanks to my fantastic #WalkingTour in #Castello 😃 you can fully enjoy all main sights, amazing secret places off the beaten tracks, indulge in "prosecco and cicheti al baccalà" 🥂🍣😋 in the large Via Garibaldi, while hearing amazing stories about local life and the ghost of the young Chiaretta of the near Sant'Anna nunnery...

The Pavillion is entitled The Ear is the Eye of the Soul and among the artists involved there are none less that #BrianEno, #JimJarmush and #PattiSmith ❤️🔥

He used to stay in a room of Hotel Metropole in Riva Degli Schiavoni.
