🎼14 May 196... Happy Birthday 🥳🍾 to Mr. Alex Masi, born and raised in Venice, living in Los Angeles since 1987, simply one of the best #guitarist in the world🔝🎸
He started here in Venice in early 80s when he put up with friends a seminal Heavy⚡️Metal Band, #DarkLord.
He was soon noticed for his guitar skills and moved to #LosAngeles where he first became a protagonist in the city's hair metal scene with his own band #Masi.
After his 1989 highly praised and Best Rock Instrumental Grammy nominated first solo album, Alex became a true Guitar Hero! He developed his mastery on the following decades embracing all music genres, from Neo Classical to Fusion, always keeping his original Heavy Metal background and attitude alive 🎸💪🔥
In the picture☝️#AlexMasi with my guest Kira, we met him a couple of years ago here in Venice, on the 👉 Secret Island. They both live in #California and they met here: it's a small world 😉😃
I post in the Chat Room👇 some crazy Masi stuff, enjoy! 🤟 #VeniceMusic #14May #myguests

35 years ago MASI, a band created in Los Angeles, California, #USA by Metal Blade Records to push and promote a new talented young guitarist from Venice, #Italy, released their debut album Fire in the Rain.
The band was named after guirarist Alex Masi surname, the record label strongly believed in him and one can already hear his guitar skills throughout Fire in the Rain: the album in itself was quite average as concerns the tracks, embracing the typical LA Hair Metal style of those years, but it paved the way for the future fair success of the band and for Alex Masi as a guitar hero!
#Masi in this album were:
#AlexMasi - Guitar, Keyboards
Bernie K. - Vocals
Dave "Skavido" Brown - Drums
Chris Marxx - Bass
Special Co-Writing Guest:
#FrankieBanali
